**Walks in frozen stiff** Brrrrr!!! It's soooo cold here. Ds2 splatted this morning on the ice, I felt mean making him walk to school while he was still upsetlaswell as late, but know he'll be ok later. Stuck my ankles back together with some plasters, new shoes argh! Used my walking boots this morning which I think saved my ankles several times when I slipped on ice.
Moam that is good news, the other good news is there are LOADS of good deals to be had on cars if you haggle, sales are down by loads, DPs Dad just ordered a brand new car at about half the price it was when the price books were done
pigpen happy new drier day, hope that cheque comes soon (but not too soon if it makes it better for you!) TDs seem to be selling well second hand in our local free ads paper, don't know if your area has a www.adtrader.co.uk. Oh dear with the burst pipe, I am sure you will find them something to keep them busy!
vanilla forgot to say yesterday congratulations on the little blue one
kazm thanks for the Netto tip, we have one a few miles away, not been there for ages
hellsbells we've had taxi hassle here too but DS1s comes after 8.30am which is my biggest issue as that means if they are late DS2s also late for his school, DS1s upset, it's that knock on effect. Some things can't be helped of course like accidents. My DS1 wasn't happy this morning as it's a different bus who takes other kids has come to get him.
Dusty my fingers are crossed for your Nan, sounds like there is something needs investigating if she's still unwell and her breathing is improved, hope you get somewhere today
Luke's getting used to his new bed rather than [strike]his[/strike] our sofa, he's still missing Megan loads, he's gone straight to his bed this morning after our walk to school and back via the fields which I didn't expect. We did take his bed upstairs last night too which I think clinched the dealhe settled loads better and didn't cry, before that he just kept prodding it, he likes comfy squishy things which is what it is and now he's given it a chance I think he's realised that. He hasn't tried to shred it, not even pulled at it which is good as he's demolished many of them before which is why I haven't bought him one for a long time. Some say you should always keep beds in the same place, it's also a bit of hassle carrying it about, but I think he's happier knowing bed can be in any room with me if that's what he wants, will be able to take it away with us too
stop him sleeping with us in the little spot on our bed in the caravan. He came down this morning with me then ran upstairs stamping his feet, doing a sort of little dance on it for me to bring it down :rotfl:
I forgot I'd bought DS1 his own washing bag, I was wondering where all his clothes areso that means a large basket full of his needs rattling through today.

Preparing dinner took longer than planned so my HHC took 40 min and ended up being only dinner and not kitchen cleaning. Never mind.
I've decided to make stock with the bones of the meat that is in dinner. I cut the meat off the bones and am now boiling the bones (and small amount of attached meat) in water. How do I know when it's done? Do I need anything else besides water? Can you tell I've not done this before?0 -
Gryfon - Actually it appears I'm not going outside as DS didn't go back to school this morning as still sick and now he's started projectile vomiting. Oh the joys.......Toxic & Tired - Starting 2010 afresh :beer:0

gsysezz...ewww not nice, hope he recovered quickly. I sent Mr G to school with the big children today, I've got to do them for the next three days as he's working.
Bah I still havn't moved...argh! The thought of clearing through all the clutter is depressing me. I don't mind cleaning and wiping, it's the fact I need to get to the surfaces first which annoys me.Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

My M.A.C.A.W challenge this week is..............
To stop picking my feet.
(gross alert stop reading now unless you want to give me unlimited sympathy)
Feet update. I tried so hard last night I just ignored them whereas normally at bedtme I fiddle. Went to bed, Couldnt sleep they were so sore, got up to check and on one foot I had two big cuts that I had left open to let the air at them, well sock fluff had got in and it was agony. I dont know how a wee bit of fluff can hurt so much. So cleaned them up, a load more skin peeled off, all raw and sore bbooo hoooo I hate them. Took some more painkillers and back to bed. (By this time it was 2.30am. DS came in at 3.30 am and again at some point later YAWN) However on the plus side one foot has had no plasters all day, seems ok now, so I am hopeful that at least one foot is improving.
Thats it for me TTFN

have you tried manuka honey on your feet? it can really help open wounds that don't want to heal, it has to have a high UMF rating though, so don't use the manuka from the supermarket. Holland and Barret sell it. You could use that for a while, bandaged up maybe, then when it's healing up, you could sometimes use cider vinegar insteadsmoke-free since Aug 2003 :j JDWilliams [strike]£479.55 [/strike] [strike]£417.92[/strike] [STRIKE]£318.33[/STRIKE] £0.00NSD in Feb 1 so far Ambrose Wilson [strike]£464.49[/strike] [strike]£422.76[/strike] £405.11:T
