Just seen an advert on telly which is a fab advert but Mr G would be freaked as he's phobic of buttons. In the first bit hundreds of buttons grow into button flowers  Good job he's not watching it!

I've heard of this phobia quite often. I wonder what makes people scared of buttons? A childhood trauma associated with them or something?

Reya...thanks for that. The Jersey Met Office says that we're averaging 4 degrees today, that site says we're 1 degree, feeling like -5 degrees! Although I don't think it's quite that cold outside.

Waving to fellow Donkey................ I've not ventured outside though so can't comment on the -5. Sadly I'm about to find out.

    Morning all

DS3 still got earache so been to the GPs this morning. Had to get past the dragon at the desk first - they have changed morning casual to emergency surgery - maybe tell us then! She said they'd been telling people since Novemember - well I went twice in december and nobody told me. Also answerphone is out of date as I tried to phone this morning to the new open at 8 appointment line and it was still on answerphone to call back after 9! Anyhow GP prescribed drops - which pharacy haven't got and asked me what 70x15 was for the script for ABs to keep hold of.

Pink - the story with Nan is very confused, her breathing is better but her general condidtion has not changed and they are not even investigating that according to Mum who visited yesterday so I'm going up again this afternoon (with DS3 in tow now) to see what I can achieve in getting a doctor to reassess her, actually think I'll see if I can find a phone number and ring them in a minute.

Vanilla I'm happy the scan went well and another boy will be lovely (I've got 3) if a bit muddy and noisey!

    Need to do:
    Dalies
    kitchen rescue
    have shower
    finish living room
    do hall downstaris toilet
    get DS3 script
    visit Nan
    ring dentist
    ring swimming lessons
    email football coach
    email cricket coach
    buy a calendar
    make cottage pie
check work timetable for next week

Jill - my hubbie is off to the states on Saturday for 2 weeks work - which part is yours off too? Funny if they are on the same flight.
