gggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr why do men never listen
dd2 has day & night muddled up again so thinks its playtime ... dh came down to complain she was keeping him awake so i took the oppotunity to grab a blanket (cos it's freezing here) and gave him dd2 to hold. the instruction was "don't put her down it's sleep time not play time" so i come back after 2mins & she's on the bl**dy floor playing
so now i'm stuck up with her when all i wanted was a blanket so i could rock her back to sleep in the warm
off to find my list & update it ...0 -

OMG it's -7°C out there! (For everyone still using 'old money' that's 19°F.)
It's going to take me 15 minutes when I get to work just to divest myself of several layers, my thermal walking boots, thermal gloves and hat (which is black and I call it my 'burglar hat') and get myself into some semblance of 'working order'. The paths and roads are frozen solid, so everyone PLEASE be careful, whether you have to walk or drive tomorrow. It looks lethal.
If anyone wants a good website for the weather, by the way, try uk.weather.com. You can enter your postcode (and bookmark the result, to save you having to re-enter it again) and the great thing about the site is that it not only tells you the temperature (and lots of other things), it also tells you what it feels like. Invaluable when you have to head out in it!
OK, Tuesday's list!

Morning all,
Well, Hubby on his way to work today (Left at 4.30am - Really don't like him driving all that way, especially in this weather, hope he is able to get some digs down there, as it's getting ridiculous driving 2 hours to work then 2 hours home after a 10 hour shift...) The ONLY good thing about it is I will have the house to myself once DS is up and on way to college, so I should be able to get on for the first time since the holidays began... :j
So I have gone back to bed with my second coffee of the day, paperwork all around me and laptop poised to get some work done while I am wide awake - I think I am going to need a nap later as I was really tired once we got back yesterday afternoon (always draining anyway) and didn't get any rest then... we'll see...
My list is now longer, but I should get much more done today... here goes:
