Morning all :hello:
I overslept (no surprise there really) as I didn't get to bed until gone 1am (yet again, no surprise :rotfl: ) but this time its because I caught my thumb nail and split it so was sitting up trying to cut it and my other nails shorter, file them down so I don't take the kids arms off like I nearly did before Xmas and then I gave them a coat of nail strengthener stuff in the hopes it will keep the loose bit of nail I can't take off flat so it won't snag. *and breathe....* :rotfl:
CSA has finally gone in, now I just need the money that ex owes me for Xmas, DD's mobile, school photos, & sponsor money (another £104 in total!) but I've only just added that up now so I best email it to himBut the upside is that at least for now there is now over £1k available to me in my overdraft...but I have bills to pay
Need to do DD's hair and get myself ready. Catch you later :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

PS Thanks for the weather website - apparently it's -6 here! I might as well be with my parents in France skiing!! (apart from the lack of snow of course!)
Also - I have fabric shower curtains but one side has gone a bit pickled...I've washed it but don't seem to have any luck getting it clean. Anyone got any magic remedies?Jonathan Douglas born 20th January 2009 - 9lb 4oz

Upside is he'll maybe earn the same or possibly a little more, downside is he'll be out longer each day and we'll need to buy me a car. (Do car sales places take choccie buttons?).
Now waiting on the letter to set it all out and gutting our finances to see how it all will fit together.
Not sure how I/we feel really - but we are very very grateful for the support you have all shown me - it helped very much over a very emotional day. Thanks.

Morning MOAM,
Am really glad DH kept his job, albeit in a different form - at least you can both feel a bit more secure now. I'm sure it will be hard to adjust at first, but it will come right once it is a bit more settled. Good luck with the car hunt, try car auctions, you can normally get a really good deal there - would the company help at all as they have changed DH's job? (probably pushing it there though)

 Morning all! Chilly here but 4 degrees and not minus temperatures
No snow either quelle surprise! Glad to see it's kitchen today, I have to get to the floor to clean it as it's disgusting and I've been meaning to do it for weeks.
Children are off to school with Mr G, he's taken them and the baby so I have the house to myself for 15 minutes.
JennyBee...fabric or plastic curtain?
Flylady_flower...what business do you have?
Reya...thanks for that. The Jersey Met Office says that we're averaging 4 degrees today, that site says we're 1 degree, feeling like -5 degrees! Although I don't think it's quite that cold outside.Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!
