Been MIA last few days.... been busy with appointments, my avon stuff and on thursday night... I WENT OUT THE PUB..... First time in 2 years Ive been out without OH and it was fabby!


THANK YOU EVERYONE.....for the flylady vibes..... we got a letter yesterday saying OH has got through to the first interview stage for the job!!! So if we can have some more "good luck in the interview, please get the job" vibes on monday for him I'll be eternally grateful! THANKS!!:D




Tuesday - tinklings
Level One
Clear and wipe kitchen worksurfaces
Sweep the floor!
Level Three
Empty the under the sink cupboard.. give it a wipe out and put back neatly the things you NEED.. get rid of or rehome the rest!
S&S over all the unit fronts and appliances!
Extras

1. Wash the windows and sills
2. Clean out the microwave

Wishy-Washy Wednesday
Level One
Declutter the living room , hallway and stairs
Level Two
Vacuum the cleared floors and up the stairs.. under furniture if you can move it safely!
Sort through coats and shoes and bag
Level Three
Check smoke alarms.. change any batteries that need doing
Wipe the paintwork
Dust the flat surfaces
Extras

1. Wash the windows in these rooms
2. Wash any soft furnishings that are in need!

Thursday - Master bedsty & landing
Level One
Strip the bedsheets and wash them!
15 minutes floordrobe clearance
Level Two
Vacuum the floor you can see in the bedroom and on the landing!
Fill a binbag with stuff you no longer need and get rid!
15 minutes filing (special for Jennybee who has lots!!)
Level Three
HH doing something that NEEDS doing..study, ironing, exercise.. GO!
Empty any bins and take any laundry to the wash basket
Extras

1. Wash dirty windows
2. dust away all the cobwebs and dust

Weekend List ...

So all the family can join in!!

1. Wash and iron uniforms ready for Monday.. do the lunch boxes & shoes too!!
2. HHI
3. Clean the porch
4. Wash any bedding that has been neglected this week!
5. Wash any windows that are in need
6. Bake a cake.. or some bickies...
7. Fill a binbag with rubbish.. *fling*
8. Fill a binbag for charity/freecycle/tip

Morning all (just about still morning!)

Didn't wake up til 10.15am today, and only then cos DH spoke to me cos he thought i was awake when i was actually dreaming!

Have had a cuppa and some breakfast and I suppose I should shower and get dressed, i think DH's parents are popping round at some point so I can't really stay in my dressing gown all day! Plans for today are the rest of my list from yesterday plus watching a film i recorded off sky last night. I also want to declutter the kitchen worksurface - there's a few bits on it that don't need to be there - i hate cluttered worksurfaces!!

Hope all are well, off to catch up with the thread and find my list..

Thats good news Johanne, really hope he gets it. Glad you enjoyed the pub, its nice to escape every now and then.

I know there area fair few of us at uni on this thread, cant remember what everyone studies though! Do any of the uni students have any use for a textbook on Cost Accounting - Principles and Practice?

HHI .. catch up!!
Level Three
Wash any curtains/blinds that are in need
Drag all the tat from under the bed and put it in its rightful places
Straighten books shelves/games etc

2. dust away all the cobwebs and dust
3. Wipe the paintwork and grubby sticky hand prints
4. dust shelves and light fittings etc

Morning All
My first time posting on this thread, though have been a 'lurker' for a while!! I'm sat at work bored stupid only me in today so no-one even to talk to(estate agent- so very very quiet!!) and thinking of all the things I should be doing. Had rubbish nights sleep as well so feel v tired, didn't help with DD1 and friend coming in at 3.30 am! Laid and listended to one of them being ill as well! Oh to be 19 again - not! Am very lucky though as partner at home and is going to polish and hoover front room and do a bit of ironing. He's fab!! We are getting married 2 weeks today, can't wait! I have a pile of paperwork on the microwave that needs filing, should of brought it up with me to work so could sort through it and just pop in filing cabinet when I get home, but as usual only thought of that after I was at work!! Do you all get days when you think how useless you are? X

The wast pipe from my bathroom basin is frozen... the tap drips and I've been meaning to fix it... but I can't work out where it is frozen or how to unfreeze it and I have a friend arriving in a couple of hours so have to go out, defrost the car, buy food and try to get the kitchen table clear!

Lil_me, Boddy, Dusty thanks for the concern re: DS1's job, I do really appreciate it x He was devastated when he first found out and has been pretty much stressed on and off since, he's supplementing what little income he gets at the mo with take-away deliveries on a weekend....but it aint much. Fingers crossed he and everybody else being made redundant manage to find other jobs soon.

embb - I've missed the news about DS1. Was he working for Nissan? I'm so sorry to hear about the redundancy. How old is he? xx
