quick flash in to say hi while I test DS's memory stick which has been through a wash because he left it in his trouser pocket (and in my defence it is black...)
Says it's not formatted.
I have hung it back on the maiden for a bit longer...
Hugs all - stay warm! I'm off hiking later - Matlock!
Presumably if it remains unformatted [STRIKE]I [/STRIKE] he can reformat it but his files will be lost. Lets hope he followed my advice and has a back up on the PC!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Breakfast first I think and then put some washing on, do my dalies and then do a bit on my list.
Friend just rang to have DS2&3 for a bit this afternoon so that will be good - decisions though - do I get on at home, take DS1 to try to get some ski stuff or visit Nan?The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

I'm not even going to attempt to catch up on the thread, although I will try and skim through it later.
I've just about kept up with my dailies this week, having gone back to work. Unfortunately, it's no better, but I keep reminding myself that at least I have a job! I've applied for 3 more this week. Something will turn up.
Anyway, this morning I have so far:
Loaded the tumble dryer
Re-loaded the washing machine
Prep'd the coffee pot
Fed dogs and cats
Washed the kitchen floor
Started cleaning the fish tank.
I still need to vacuum and dust throughout, wash bathroom and shower room floors and clean both rooms.
DS has made dinner three times this week and DD did a pile of ironing on Thursday evening, as I'm also back at college. However, I've made the decision to give up my Welsh lessons until the next academic year. That will give me another evening for flying, homework or my case studies.
Back later! :wave:DMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419

Hello, PF, we were wondering where you were last week, sounds like you've been busy!! I was wondering how you were getting on with the welsh, a shame you've postponed them but it seems to be the right decision for the moment, I hope you do go back to it though!!
Short HH for me, then, got dressed, washed, put away all the socks and underwear etc, emptied the upstairs bins and done a little bit more in the kitchen!!!0 -
:hello:
Morning all!!
I have had a good week even though I am back at work but have managed to do all my dailies so my house is looking good.
List for the morning
make the bed
shower and dress
pack up parcel to post to my daughter
walk into town and post parcel
do a few odd shopping jobs (pencils, crayons etc)
right that's it for now, back later
xxxGo hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last0 -
Thanks Vali, I'll have a look in my next tea break - we have the galleria outlet a few miles from use which has lots of mountain/ski/TKMaxx shops - there is where I filled the gaps in the other 2's kit. They are easier, less fussy, I brought the stuff, they tried it on, job done (well I have one jacket to return as I brough 2 as I was unsure which would fit best - shame it is the smaller one but the other is too loose and he'd get snow up the back of it).
Hi Pink, glad you survived the week hun and I hope you have a nice weekend, is hubbie home this weekend?
Promised the kids little pancakes so best do that next. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Good morning all
Skimming through the posts there must have been some thing in the air last night, cos I did't sleep well either SarahShattered / mOZzy / any one else. I had a weird dream as well, and DS1 came in with us around 3am and I couldn't be bothered to get up and take him back into his room, he said he didn't want a wee. DS2 who is also in our room at the moment got up at 6am. So feel like carp this morning.
