  • Hope you managed to get to sleep Indigo, sorry, was typing up my cupboard stuff... (how sad!) Hope you've worked it out right - nice little windfall... :)

Still, have finally done my food inventory - god, I've got loads of carp to use up..., still, apart from topping up, should be a good grocery week this week...:T

1 load of washing just finishing, so will get that hung up
    Dishwasher also about to finish
kitchen about to be S&S'd... (just the floors to do tomorrow - again!)
Coffee about to be drunk (probably why I can't sleep)
I really am WIDE awake - not even yawning now... hence I think the coffee will be OK, mmmm, I really need to get my sleep patterns back on track or I'll be no good next week when I'm working...

Been up almost an hour, think it's the hormonal insomnia playing up  them next door were making a racket too - I've made a note ;) I hope you two night owls indigo, flower) have finally managed to get some sleep x

Lil_me, Boddy, Dusty thanks for the concern re: DS1's job, I do really appreciate it x He was devastated when he first found out and has been pretty much stressed on and off since, he's supplementing what little income he gets at the mo with take-away deliveries on a weekend....but it aint much. Fingers crossed he and everybody else being made redundant manage to find other jobs soon.

This cold is still lurking around, it's a funny ole bug cause you think you're getting better then it comes back again full belt  my sore throat's still niggling and the blocked up nose is doing my head in lol drinking loads of water, getting exercise and sweating it out but still not gone.

I'm supposed to be doing an entire house clean today - lmao :D - hmmmmm mebbe's just the downstairs, upstairs is ok (kids do their own rooms, both bomb sites, but not gonna worry about it) my room is fine could poss do with a bedding change, and the bathroom & landing could do with a quick going over, so mainly the downstairs, yes.

I wish Embb, I think Indigo finally did though... Sounds like you've not been able to sleep either - wonder if mine is hormonal - never thought of that...

Hope your OH gets something sorted soon - I know how you feel, when hubby was about to be laid off before he got this job, we were panicing like mad - we were lucky, so I hope you get sorted out soon - it's soooo stressful, no wonder you're not sleeping... hugs hun x

Have done quite a bit though - piece and quiet, it does help! ;)

You're still up then :D the hormonal thing is a possiblity, I get it about a week or so before I'm due on, but not every month

It's my DS1 who is being made redundant, but what you say still applies cause they're both stressed and I can't help but worry about them especially with little baby to look after now....it's a bad time for a lot of people unfortunately. Even my OH is stuggling, the kitchen fitting business is all but dried up, he's advertising for handyman services now just to try and get some cash in, doesn't affect me directly as we don't live together but y'know....bah! the whole country is going to pot.

Need to concoct some sort of list for today, got rellies coming tomorrow so HAVE to do it...

Sorry, don't know what made me think it was OH - eyes going now I think... :D

It's awful at the moment job wise - I really feel for your DS and hope he is able to get something soon, like you say, especially with a littleun... scarey.

I work on the building side of things and it's just drying up everywhere - although we are getting more redesign stuff coz people are staying put, but with the job market, a lot of people are just holding onto their money too so I know what your OH is going through...

My DD is also out of work - not too bad as she only has herself to keep, but she only gets £47 to do that and we can't afford to help her, so not exactly fun eh! I'm worried about my DS too - he leaves school in May/June after his exams - I think he will go on to college, but really not sure - frightening isn't it...

Right, have caught up on a few jobs, and am now yawning again... so I am going to attempt to go to bed... get it while I can eh!...

    See you all later...

EDIT: Just seen your HHC - so I will join you by hanging out my washing on the airer and folding up the stuff that is dry, but then I will be hitting the sack - hope you are able to too by then... :)

EDIT AGAIN: HHC (or there abouts) done - another wash on, clean wash taken out and hung up on airer and dried clothes all folded up nicely... Am definitely hitting the sack now... [strike]night[/strike] morning all... :)

Confession time: I didn't clean the bathroom yesterday as planned (I've joined this thread too late to start from the beginning so I thought I'd do the worst room first.), and I haven't done it today either! However, I did lots of form filling yesterday and caught up on paperwork I had been meaning to do for ages. And I came home from work today to find OH had tidied, cleaned, and hoovered the whole living room and bedroom! We can see bits of floor we haven't seen for months and even the hotspots have been tidied up! I'm so happy! Now I really must clean the bathroom and do some washing up because we have some friends coming over tmrw, and I don't think I can ban them from using the loo!
The trouble is, I have severe depression, and life is such a struggle that when I am at home I'm usually so tired from dealing with my emotions and the stresses of life that I don't feel up to doing much around the house. Even the washing up gets left until we don't have anything left to use and then I will start grappling with it. Disgusting I know, and I hate living like this. But I don't seem to have enough mental strength or energy to deal with everything I would like to.:o

I am the same hun, its very hard isn't it, but other people can't see how hard it is sometimes and just think you are lazy (or thats what i think they think anyway). Sounds like you are doing great hun, at least you are trying, If you would like any help with anything just ask cos i have suffered for years now and have had so much help from various places, and i like to try pass it on if i can xx
:starmod: May all your wishes come true! :starmod:

    Morning ladies :hello:

Guess who's awfully, terribly, hopelessly behind with the thread yet again this week -:o
No hope of catching up so hi to all regulars, newbies and returners and anyone else that I've forgotten.

Lots of flying needs to be done in the TAG household over the weekend. How rare:rolleyes:

However in my defence the hose on my dyson has split right at the flippin top where I can't get any tape round it. So I'm watching 3 on Ebay and hopefully will have won one by the end of the weekend.

Right I suppose I'd better go and find a list and make a bit of a start. Back in a bit.
