There's been piles of paperwork on the floor for so long I'd forgotten what colour it was....:oJonathan Douglas born 20th January 2009 - 9lb 4oz

Fly-flo - in these parts, you can renew library books online. It'll save you a fine...
Dusty, the cat is probably there trying to keep warm! Enjoy your coffee with your friends
Rach - I'll join you for a HHC about a minute late...
Have just done my occasional compare prices from a few months ago. Last time I did it, I think it worked out my grocery bill had gone up about 8%
Just compared a bill from last March with online prices and it's now an increase of 14.5%
Right - off for that HHC - as I've stripped my bed, I shall concentrate on my bedroomI am the leading lady in the movie of my life

I'm off to finish filling the dishwasher as much as I can, do the washing up in the sink and then shudder at the thought of very cold wet clothes!Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

Jenny - how are you this morning? Not doing too much I hope:rotfl:
Flower - I think it was flower who asked but my brain is a little mushy - yes, i'm doing payment a day and it's a fab thread and really getting this card paid off. I'm hoping to pay the card off by the 1st March but it's interest free until April (actually they've written to us to extend until July but i've not told DH that!!).
G&B - Dixon's were totally carp with out cooker last year in as much as if it's damaged they make you send it back to the maker of the item rather than deal with it themselves. It all got sorted though. On the other hand, on Sunday I ordered the dvd hard drive recorder and it arrived on Wednesday with no problems at all. I think they're all pretty similar.
News of the day....I walked the dogs today!!!! Yeahhhh!!!!!! We went to the park for 50 minutes and spotty dotty potty dog was so happy. When I took her lead off the hook she had a huge grin on her face (Dally's really do smile - they're the only dogs with the muscles to allow them to do it). It's soooo good to be getting back to normal. I'm off to the shops this afternoon which is another hours walk and there's me telling Jenny off for doing too muchxx

I'm probably oversimplifying things (as it's not happened to me, I am no expert!) But surely...if someone at the bank has told him that his card has been cloned overseas then they shouldn't be charging him for going overdrawn?
Like I said, I'm no expert but that seems a little off to me...
I would have thought so too...maybe anyone with banking connections can advise?Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Well done, that's really encouraging, but don't overdo it:D

Apparently he would need fraud prevention insurance or something like that?? I dont know much about that kind of thing either. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
I'm back, just folded up a load of clothes. Headache is back so I need to take something for it. Wondering if it's my pillows as I didn't change them when I had headaches caused by inflamed neck muscles last time.
Ok I'm actually going to do some...*gulp*...ironing  Should be nice quick ironing, quick once over on school tops, school trousers and a couple of shirts. However in order to do that I need to get to the ironing board which currently is housing an overflowing box of DD2s clean clothes and two big piles of mine and Mr Gs clothes. So they need moving but I don't want to just dump them on the kitchen table. So in order to move my clothes I need to get to my drawers and empty them of things I don't wear at the moment, and in order to move DD2s clothes I need to get to her drawers which are currently stuck behind a huge pile of clothes waiting to be sorted and stored!
DD2 seems to be quite happy causing chaos in the lounge, she's got her box of toys out and I think it spreading it around, also she was going into the DVD stack but she did help me put that away.
So wish me luck! May even be able to take a photo of my bedroom and be proud...now that'll be a first :rotfl:Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!
