  • Managed to get through on the phone to SWW. Have agreed payment plan with them. (this is my debt a day choice) Also going to arrange to go on water meter.

CC statement came, was checking through and saw that I was paying £40 for PPI, that's now canceled (should get down the SWW bill quicker)

Still doing 5 min cleans today. So far have done a rubbish sweep and have pots soaking in sink. Getting there.

JillD, I was almost in tears reading about your review, I remember something similar happening to me, Totally unjustified especially as I was working above and beyond the call of duty. (Sister at a nursing home, constantly plagued with staff sickness, the company was going bust, and all we were trying to do was give the best service poss to our clients. I left very shortly after that best thing I did:o)

You'll feel the benefit in a few weeks. Good Luck.:money:

Thank you pigpen!!! Clothes arrived today and they're lovely :) Sure the children will be thrilled with them :Dthank%20you%20smiley.gif

Hmmm my hands are so cold and dry that they're cracking! And I need to go and get some coal...blah. Maybe I'll stack up the fire, heat up Stanley for cooking and stay in the kitchen/lounge for the day.

serena I love the way it makes the garden look too
Gryfon good luck, wouldn't work here, no that few things would never be put in by anyone but me, they only come in to pick up a plate/dump a plate on the bench if I am lucky
ZLS I am sure you will be fien with the lifting thing, most of us have no choice when having ops etc, I had a heavy toddler and a heavy baby to carry around, double pushchair to push etc within a week of having my op. Enjoy your rest.
Christmasshopper hope you feel better soon
JillD every one of those reasons to leave would be good enough, definately can be without 'friends' like those. I used to work with my partner and struggle to get used to it now we aren't working together, so no, not sad (well if I said you were I would be too!)
g&b you have every right to be annoyed, hope you get it sorted soon

Brrrr it's cold here, very frosty/icey but managed to stay upright on the walk to school. Suns now shining very bright so will probably have no frost later on. Phone appointment with GP done, now have appointment next Tuesday morning. Another morning where I have struggled to make it home and that was after taking pain relief first thing to try to ease it.

I've not had a totally unproductive morning, have emptied DW and folded that lot while sat down, aswell as dealt with all the kids stuff and walked the dog on the way back from school. I need to wait in for DPs parcel which is coming special delivery today (he's in bed) but will also try to potter about to get things done. Got a lot to do but not going to cripple myself more to get it done.

Does anyone else get so many collection bags for clothing etc? We've had 8 this week since Monday, 4 of which are not even charities, drives me mad.

Edit that DPs parcels arrived early so have managed to get in doctors at 11.20am, that's better. Hoping DP will be up by then as I don't dare risk driving but might not be able to manage the walk. Think I will go empty at least the top of the DW, hopefully the bottom too. Toochoosey I'll join you but at 10.40 instead as I need to be out at 11.10, don't think I will have time to report back but I will

Empty DW as much as possible
Get rid of some of the kitchen rubbish
Put stuff away off kitchen benches
    Wipe benches over
    Fold more clean/dry laundry
    Empy dry stuff from airers
Fill airers with contents of WM
One day I might be more organised...........

Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
  • Morning all, just wanted to say hi before I hit the sack...

Really tired this morning - got hubby up for work, did his lunch and stuff and sent him on his way, pottered around a bit S&Sing the kitchen, only floor to do in there now, then fell asleep and got up late (8.15am) so had to quick get DS up and run him into school (JUST before late bell) then went to docs to drop off prescription, went to library to take back books, but they were shut? (why tell me to have them back for the 9th when they're not even open??? )
Anyway, got back, had brekkie, sat down for 10 mins and I can't keep my eyes open so I really need to get some sleep - think the last couple of days running around doing everything has caught up with me...

I'll be back later, see you then... Dx

Morning all, and hugs for everyone!
Have done school run, been to town to pay bills, cleaned up bathroom, made breakfast, ate breakfast and put all the dishes in to soak.
Going to chill out with a cuppa till 11 then crack on with an HHC. ANyone want to join me?
Everything is reasonably tidy, so shouldnt take more than an hour to do a general tidy round. Kids rooms needs a good tidy tho, after yesterdays upheaval in spare room(alot of stuff being moved around from one room to another)
Am at work till 9.30 tonight, might do a page or 2 for my scrapbook when I get back. We'll see how tired I am!
