    Good morning all.

WM x 1 on line ***grins - yellow pegs***

I have just spent a few minutes catching up with the thread and testing the supposedly 'dud' AAA batteries I have been given at school for recycling because my MP3 player needs one and I ran out...15 of about 20 WORKED...presumably they were thought dead as they are used in school equipment in pairs...they probably haven't much life in them but I can listen to my Friday Night Comedy download when I clean up now!

    ;)noted! - See below...
btw I think the orange grout is a mould or a mildew tbh...

Mmmmm, strange, when I clicked on quote, you had a web link that wouldn't work, then this came up???? Am I in the twiglet zone???:rotfl: What was the original link?

Yea, guessed it was, but wondered why it didn't go black like everything else - it's so annoying, it was only done just before Christmas - I hate it...

Can't believe it - I'm working with no lights on, just curtains open AND NO HEATING ON!!!! :j It's really warm in here (not been out yet, still bits of snow on the ground in the shady areas...) OOOOHHH, just looked up - thick fog - that wasn't there about 2 mins ago! strange.... maybe I am in the twiglet zone... da da dee da, da da dee da, da da dee da...

Anyway, back on track, today I have mostly been doing the kitchen...
    I have:
    • Washed the ceiling of all the brown, greasy stuff that was above the cooker
    • Painted the wall again behind the cooker (it was painted in matt - no good if you want to wash it down, so I have re-painted in the same colour in silk)
    • Washed the tiles down
    • Cleaned the windows - inside AND out (not the frames, just the glass)
    • Pulled out the cooker and cleaned under it....
    • raised the legs at the front while I was there (everything sloped to the front when you were cooking...:p )
    • Cleaned out the bottom of the cooker while I was there
    • Cleaned all the worktops and appliances down that end of the kitchen...
So now I'm taking a likkle break on here coz I think I deserve one... my bedding has just finished in the WM and was on iron dry (it's a washer/dryer) - , so I will have this cuppa and then IRON IT ready to go back on my bed once hubby is up...

Monday to Wednesday lists (still to do)

Delete 50 unwanted emails from your inbox!
Throw out any chipped mugs.. the porous pottery harbours bacteria.. YUK!!
    Wipe and water neglected plants

Thursday - Master bedsty & landing

Vacuum the floor you can see in the bedroom and on the landing! Going to vacuum all the upstairs - might as well once it's plugged in.
HH doing something that NEEDS doing..study, ironing, exercise.. GO! Sewing for me

    Extras

    1. Wash dirty windows
    2. dust away all the cobwebs and dust
    3. Wipe all the upstairs doors! .. both sides!!
    4. straighten the linen cupboard! Don’t have one! I put bedding on the top shelf in the wardrobes in each room so they are easy to find. I'm going to try that Martha Stewart way of folding a fitted sheet though :D

I was going to carry on with the driveway outside, but it's still wet and muddy out there so don't think I'll bother. I was meant to have my hair cut today, but DH has the car and I can't be *rsed walking there and back - and I haven't got any money to pay for it anyway, so I've cancelled.

Right, plant watering, dusting, vacuuming and doing the windows. HHC starting 10.15 I think.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I am in the twiglet zone - I've gone back in time....

Breakfast eaten, gonna have a quick whizz through downstairs to keep it in top condition, load WM and TD. Then take DS2 upstairs, he can play in his room while I start on my craft room.

Final (for today) load in WM... packing pile started... god-daughter's present wrapped... funding request started... rude response send back to company who KEEP contacting me at work about financial services conferences despite my requests to be removed from their mailing list as I don't work in financial services... anything more from them and they'll find that they're blacklisted on the mail servers :p
