  • Is it just me or are all websites REALLY slow today????

I have just tried to pay a bill and it's going so slow that it signed me out of my banking page... Also trying to download the Anne Franks series that I missed, has taken about 3 hours so far to download 1 episode!!!

Even MSE is slow - is it just me? Or is it because it's really thick fog disrupting stuff (can't even see houses properly over the road...)

Well Valli, you would be proud of me - Pillowcases ironed, cover put back in to dry some more as VERY wet still, bottom sheet laid out to finish drying and airing...

I am now REALLY tired... I am going to go have a kip I think, haven't slept properly the last couple of nights, next to no sleep at all and it has just caught up with me with a bang... See you in an hour or so (don't want too long or I won't sleep again tonight...);)

I am sooooo tired of fighting with my 2 year old!!!! I give up!

I remember such times, i felt quite murderous/suicidal. it does pass, really. One time my DS was having a hissy fit cos he wanted fish fingers and so I had to cook them, but he thought he should be able to have them straight from the freezer.... i kept explaining, but he must have thought i was just trying to make his life harder, so in the end i lost it, and said ok then have it frozen then, and gave it to him! His face was a picture when he tried to eat one!! he soon gave it back to me to cook:rotfl:
he could be quite violent too, so i would at times have to lock myself in the bathroom til he/i calmed down, while i'd be reading "toddler taming" for tips! that book saved our lives, seriously!!:T

I'll join you, get my IRONING done!!!!!;)

I only have a hankie and a dress for LO to do - I only iron if ABSOLUTELY necessary :rotfl:

I watered and wiped plants (managing to snap off a couple of leaves in the process ), dust everywhere including skirtings (those pledge fluffy dusters are a godsend), empty WM, fill WM, empty TD, fill TD, make DD2 breakfast, which she is eating while watching a Mister Men DVD, make a :coffee: which I'm having now. I'm thinking of going out to finish the front driveway - I noticed the back garden is in a serious need of some TLC, so want to start on that tomorrow, so after my coffee I'm going to do that. I need to search back and find out what else I need to be doing.

Bah, just had to pay £65 for tuba loan for a year. Why can't my girl choose something small, like a clarinet or flute!

Children at our schools pay £16 a term for instrument hire, no matter what the instrument. Last year I bought DD1 a pink violin. With (exhorbitant P&P which I didn't see until too late) it will have paid for itself by this time next year.
