I'll just have to ban everyone from using the bathroom (actually, as my mum's here, it'll probably be spotless :T )... mind you, decluttering my desk might kill me...

Evening all, just working my way through the thread, well finishing last weeks one first.
I had my afternoon in town, well a couple of hours anyway, got my mystery shop done which required a £10 in a well known shop's posh-ish food department so I managed to get 6 salad pot things for lunches for me and DH for some of this week, they were all on offer and all look yummy. It was either that or some fancy salmon ones at £3.99 each which just seemed really expensive. And I managed to avoid the bisuit aisle, those of tubs of Rocky Road bites etc YUM but dangerous.
I also spent my Christmas money on a gorgeous new handbag, it was 360 down to £30 in the Debenhams sale and is very trendy but practicalNice taupe colour with black design so will go with everything, one of those sort of wide shallow bags with 2 shoulder straps and big silver loopy bits, but the best bit is the linig is a vivis orange and green design so its not dark inside so I will be able ti find stuff!! My current day to day bag is vast and deep and dark and is a black hole ......
Anyway I have emptied out the 3 bags I had in circulation, the deep dark one, a ripped red one, and a tiny shoulder one that I use when I am out at plkaces like soft play where I dont want to leave my bag unattended. So I am feeling all organised tonight now my bag is sorted
Other news is - we have put up a room divider/gate thingy across the door of our playroom, I am SO FED UP with asbo-baby demolishing the entire downstairs now she will only e able to wreck the playroom. I've been tidying our shoe rack and hat/glove/welly boxes about 10 times a day all over the holidays, not to mention the mess in the front room if she gets in there and she has wrecked DH's study a couple of times too when he's left the door open. Its all been really annoying me, so we borrowed this babydan playpen thing from a friend that opens up to be a room divider, but like a really wide stairgate. We have double doors into our playroom that had tocome down when one of the (non-safety ) glass panels started to break along the edge. So a bog standard stair gate wasn't wide enough.
The baby will be well hacked off, I am expecting lots of tantrums tomorrow, but tough, she will get used to it.
We also blitzed the last of the Xmas chocolate and SHOCK HORROR binned some. The kids have been a nightmare at bedtime and I'm sure the sweets after tea are contributing.
Just going to read a bit more and might even decide on a couple of things to do tomorrow :eek:. Back to normal a bit as DH will be back to work.Jan GC: £202.65/£450 (as of 4-1-12)
