Vivw - this thread always gets even more mad in January. I tend to just read the last page or two if I log on and there's lots of pages to read. It slows down again after a few weeks when life takes over after a few weeks off. Just get what you need from it...your list and a quick hello is fine if it suits you. Just don't go away or we'll find you:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: xx

Sarahsh - well done you babe! :T:T:T

Blimey, this thread's moving fast. Almost difficult to keep up with. At this rate I'll not be able to view all when I get home from work tomorrow. (Pah! stinky work! Pah! - but it pays the bills)

So I'll say night night all - sleep well and have a fandabidozy day tomorrow

    xx

    Can I join ?:xmastree:

I have dabbled with Flylady in the past but always got to anal about it all and as i could not do it to perfection gave up:o

So y aim is to do the jobs on the list and not stress if they are not perfect or even if i miss some.

We moved into a bigger house at the nd of November (credit crunch bargain !) and it is overwhelming having so much house to clean now !

My older kids are back at school tomorrow and my 2 year old is in nursery 9-3 on Mondays so a good day to start.
It's not paranoia if they really are after you.

Hi guys, tomorrow I will tackle the bathroom and the manky floor as I put it off today due to batch cooking instead.

I PLEDGE to myself I will return from work at 6pm, take the dog out for a walk and then tackle the bathroom before I cook tea. Then that is enough for me for one evening.

See then what the next day's list brings to see if I have enough energy to tackle it!

    Take care all of you!:T :A :T

Sunnygirl - what an absolute b*st*rd your SIL's husband is! What a selfish, uncaring person - how on earth can he do that to children on Christmas Eve? Just by being there for your SIL and letting her know that she can lean on you and ask for your help is brilliant. She's lucky to have you.
ditto that - utterly selfish behaviour! - five years messing around and he has to pick xmas? BUT assuming she doesn't want him back she needs to think practically too - close or put a stop on joint bank accounts/credit cards then he can't take all their money or run up bills in her name (that little caveat joint and several liability applies here). Ring council to get immediate reduction in council tax and tbh if he has keys change locks...

I am :rotfl: at the thought of all those joining WW or SW or similar, gyms AND us! wow...

maybe we need a sub thread (or two) one to say what we have done and t'other to nattter/moan etc...bit like the OS daily.... a Flylady daily thread...mind you I'll still try and read 'em all cos I am sad and have no life :rotfl:

I'd like to join too please...to be honest I'd have signed up a couple of hours ago, but it's taken me this long to read through the whole thread!! Have found it very inspirational and just what I could do with to get back into the swing of keeping on top of things after a couple of years of struggling.:xmastree::xmastree:

Sunnygirl - Just wanted to add my hugs for you and your SIL/DNs. She probably wont know what she wants from one day to the next (speaking from experience) Maybe offer to feed her and the kids as well? Are you near enough distance wise for practical help?

    Hi all

I really want to join in but find it so hard to keep up with you all. There is so much chat they I can't hope to keep up and then feel quilty if I can't respond to someone. What do others do who want to 'fly ' but can't keep up with it all?
Its back to work tomorrow and I've spent most of the last 3 days doing school work. \this means I haven't even taken the christmas decs down yet. So that must be a priority tomorrow evening.

    Bless ye. Read faster :p

Seriously though, if you're pushed, just take the list off onto a document, and when you've achieved some of it, post it up!
I'm struggling to keep up with the chat, because I don't know many people here. I'm sure it will get easier to remember them the more I'm on.
I do a task, then update on here whilst I have a coffee. It's my five minutes break for getting something done instead of wondering where the heck to start :rotfl:

Edit - we're also saving for a wee holiday. Just a self catering unit in Scarborough, but it should be doable, and we haven't been away since DH and I got together 4 and a half years ago. We're planning it for the summer holidays :) I'm quite excited!
