Hi all
I really want to join in but find it so hard to keep up with you all. There is so much chat they I can't hope to keep up and then feel quilty if I can't respond to someone. What do others do who want to 'fly ' but can't keep up with it all?
Its back to work tomorrow and I've spent most of the last 3 days doing school work. \this means I haven't even taken the christmas decs down yet. So that must be a priority tomorrow evening. We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.0 -

Sunnygirl - what an absolute b*st*rd your SIL's husband is! What a selfish, uncaring person - how on earth can he do that to children on Christmas Eve? Just by being there for your SIL and letting her know that she can lean on you and ask for your help is brilliant. She's lucky to have you.0

Can I join the thread too? I’ve been lurking and following Flylady for some months now and it is really making a difference to my home and life.
I live with dh and have b/g twins age 6 and ds age 4. I work 28 hours a week over 4 days so manage catch up time on Fridays each week.
I have been making my home and life more OS for about a year now. During 2008 I reduced my working week from full time and dh got a promotion which bizarrely resulted in a significant drop in income for him too (lost of shift allowances etc.)
My house has a 1 bedroom annex attached to it. My Mum who sadly died 4 years ago this month used to live there. We now use it as part of our home but it means I have two of everything to clean except bathrooms – I’ve got two full bathrooms, 1 en suite shower room and a d/s toilet – OMG! I hate bathroom days!:D
Anyway, I’m not sure how much I will be able to post, but I will try my best!

I'm in again........the bathrooms really do need sorting, especially since I reckon I'm going to need a long soak in the tub tomorrow night (much nicer to do that in a fresh, clean bathroom!). First day back at work tomorrow and I can't say I'm looking forward to it - it has been nice not to be constantly stressed out and the long break has given DH a chance to recover from the rotten virus that he had at the beginning of December.
Here's hoping 2009 is a better year for all of us!
Hugs, MenollyObedient women are never remembered in History!

10/11/10 Spent £84.95 17/11/10 Spent £79.63 24/11/10 Spent £75.39 :j
December Grocery Challenge 30/11/10 Spent £32 Clubcard Vouchers and £79.15 Cash. 08/12/10 Spent £77.73 Cash and £127.50 Clubcard Vouchers - Christmas is now sorted!!! :snow_grin0 -
just following a conversation i have just had I looked up private number plates...
so the question im going to ask is:
My name is Jamie
I can get a number plate saying JAM 11E.....
now do i really need it...or would owning a car be better...
oh the cost of the plate £42k
Sorry, but I do think that people who feel the need to have a 'personalised' numberplate must be seriously lacking in something. Especially if they don't have a car :rotfl::rotfl:. Were you going to hang it round your neck? :rotfl::rotfl:
