Why specifically a ferret? is he a speciesist???
Why not a cat? or a mouse? or a little dog? or a mole? or a tarantula?...
We thought ducting was measued in mm diameter not animal size that can be stuffed through it.
the waste pipe from my loo is dwarf rabbit size... at least I know what to use next time it blocks!

lozzieozzie - weclome. Where do you heed from using a word like numptyI am from NIreland but lived in Scotland for 9 years and brought the word numpty down to Berkshire (where I now live) with me. They are adopting it fairly well
gertrudeanna and ella - welcome to you too
greenbee - just spotted you're in Hampshire. I'm in Reading so not too far. It was freezing all day wasn't it. Brrrrr. The net round our trampoline was white with frost til about 1pm
JAM and Denise we saw that Xfiles movie at the cinema. SPOLIER ALERT DONT READ IF YOU MIGHT WATCH IT
Think M&S were meant to be together hence the whole split thing but I felt that they didnt explain it at all well so the impact of him saying he had had enough and was leaving wa a bit lost (that was what happened wasnt it, it was ages ago we saw it). Anyway it wasnt very xfiles-y was t. Just your common or garden paranormal thriller.
hollyh thats annoying about the Xbox. DH got one for Xmas, he is driving me nuts with it but he loves it. Nightmare to take it back though they weigh a ton!! Hope they sort it out for you. Oh just got to the bit where you said about the refund . Well done
kaz again like you - late night, late up, this week will kill me I think, esp when the school run starts on Weds.

soappie YOU ARE A GENIUS we have no telly in the kitchen, I always want to watch stuff on iplayer and have things to do at the table (no table in front room) so iplayer in laptop in kitchen is exactly what I will do
How did the hypnotherapy go ? I had that to get rid of a wasp phobia, it worked and although it sounds like an exageration I can say it has changed my lifeVery relaxing if nothing else.
msgnomey - hope heating sorted soon, not a good time of year for it to go !
Feel better soon Johanne ((hugs))
Polly glad you are a bit perkier today
Summermooon - boys and their toys (as someone else said ages ago) ggrrrr. Mine has been great this holiday but his addiction to the xbox 360 he got for Xmas is verging on ridiculous. For starters he wet and bougt it himself "in case you dont get it in time for Christmas for me". Then as well as the games and the online gaming he has networked it to our main PC which is in his study (xbox in front room) and is in the process of encoding all our DVs onto the PC so he can watch them on the telly, using the Xbox over the network. Because he can.We have a DVD player (not to mention the xbox itself obviously) in the front room. I got Mamma Mia for Xmas and wanted to watch it one night. He had to really have some internal struggle with himslef to just watch it becausehe wanted to first take it into the study, encode it, then watch it on the tv over the network MEN:mad:
hellsbells - interested in the Sew Hip thing - hoping to lose weight this year and have lots of lovely linen trousers which will hopefully be too big some summer so will need to know how to take them in. Sounds ideal! Where did you see it ? Wonder if they have a website ...
OMG I only just finished reading the old thread, taken me ages, but its been fun! - off to read the new one for a bit.
DH watching Pirates of the Caribean 3 ( on Xbox via network of course) and theres not much left, Plus wine glass almost empty LOLJan GC: £202.65/£450 (as of 4-1-12)
