DS1 is in ICT at the moment - how do I know that? Am I psychic? Have I looked at his timetable? No he messages OH whilst in that lesson and then OH emails me questions! The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

I joined in the HHC without realising it was going on:
mucked out the kitchen
cleared and polished the computer desk - blimey it was disgusting.
1 load in wm - need to hang to dry.
Found babysitter so I can now go and teach my lesson. I must go make myself look human - that may be a challenge in itself as lived in pyjamas on vomit watch for last 3 days. Quick look at what i'm teaching then i'm off.
Haven't even started on the lounge yet............ that's going to be a severe challenge..........

LL - I had a horizontal cut and it's all fully healed now. I'm doing a bit more every day but then I have days like yesterday when I did nothing but sleep. Everyone says you should listen to your body so that's what i'm doing. Are you having a horizontal or vertical? Mine was a lot bigger than I thought...I remember on day two having a shower and asking the nurse how big it was and thinking 'wow'! It's about 12 inches but as my bikini days are long gone i'm not bothered at all. I can honestly say that having the operation has been the best decision I have ever, ever made! Yes, i'm tired but i've not had pain or been anemic for nearly four weeks. It feels fab!! xx
Are you ladies talking about hysterectomies?Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in.0 -

If I'm feeling inspired sort wet clothes and hang out or put in dryer
Feed myself
Put away dry washing on rack
Do washing up in sink
Phone and pay doctors bill :j
Woo hoo I'm on a roll! Just trying not to stop :rotfl: Think it helps that DD2 has been entertaining herself all morning. Right she wants milk now so my whole list will be done  Although the dishwasher does need unloading again and I've got yet more washing to hang out and another load in  n b

SPC2 #571 - trying to get as much as possible0 -
Mudbath ....apologies to everyone else...my consultant thinks it will have to be vertical, but I'm keeping fingers crossed for a horizontal, they are meant to be easier aren't they!
Sun has just poked through the clouds, so will take doggie for a walk, then will do a bit more after lunch.

Yes, sorry! Mudbath has had hers & mine is on 13 Feb, so she is a mine of information:A“Cancer has my body but not my spirit, and I’ll continue to make jokes, not so much about cancer, but in spite of it” Irwin Barker0 -
Oh it gets worse,
OH's customer for tomorrow has called and said it's best he doesn't come in and can he come in in 2 weeks time (he does alternate weeks) so that's another £60 we won't have this week. SHe did say though that her son has had this cold/flu thing and that it kept coming back for ages until he gave up and spent 3 days indoors resting. So I guess going out to do gardening in this weather probably hasn't helped. Unfortunately I have trouble with being sypathetic to OH when he's ill (for a lot of very complicated reasons, but the story of the boy who cried wolf rings true) and the stress of knowing we'll be skint this month doesn't help matters
I must learn to be a better more supportive partner
List is looking better after HHC, though...
Have eaten something too, which should improve my mood.

Christmasshopper - yes we are. See, I do have an excuse for not completing lists at the moment and it's the first time ever our lovely piggers has shouted at me for doing too much!!! LL - I think horizontal are supposed to be easier but saying that, if a vertical is safer for what you're having done then that'll will be easier as it won't be as traumatic for your body.
I'm going to make a sandwich and sort our some recycling whilst i'm there. I'll also load the dishwaster an unload the washing machine. All very CAREFULLY!!! xx0 -
(((hugs))) Ragz
