  • Morning everyone. Hope all is well.

I have been up early this morning 5.30am. It has been the first time where I have had no stress when getting the kids ready for school. Everything was prepare from last night. This really paid off as they were ready and waiting to be picked up by their dad at 7.30am 30 mins before he was due. :j

I didn't think I would be able to do any flying today but could bear leaving the house not doing anything. May have to take it easy for the rest of the day as I have a hospital appointment at 18:00 for some test and I don't want to get too stressed.

    My updated list

    Monday Mayhem..
Declutter the desk.. make it shine! -not sure I will ever get around to this. It has so much paper work on it.

johanne...when we had mice we went for the two pronged attack of firstly snap trapping them and then we put one of those sonic things in the kitchen, touch wood but we've had nothing for the past year or so. We also found a gap where they may have been getting in so blocked that up. Trouble is we have a few vents around the house which you can't block up but we haven't seen any since. Try a couple of the sonic things.

I'm here just about. I was complaining about how chilly it was in the house...then I went outside for the school run :rotfl: It's tuba day so I had to drive as I'm not walking that blimin thing there! May walk tomorrow though depending on whether I can find all gloves, hats, scarfs etc.

Ok here is my inital list before I do anything else:

    Light fire
    Change and dress baby
    Give baby some milk
Give baby warm weetabix (not sure why I call her baby when she's 20 months now )
    Empty dishwasher
Fill dishwasher and put on if possible
    Empty washing machine
Fill washing machine and put it on
If I'm feeling inspired sort wet clothes and hang out or put in dryer

Once those main things are done I WILL do at least one thing from the list! Oh and I have decorations to put away today. Can't do the tree as the children want to help but I can do the hanging things and the cards.
Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

  • Good Morning All

I was up til 1am last night, trying to fix the virus on my computer, still no joy. So have not achieved my MACAW Challenge, as was meant to go to sleep by 11pm.
Oh I forgot to say I also found a £2 coin hiding under the sette. It was well worth cleaning this morning.

    I think I will treat my self..

What we've started doing is everytime we get a £2 coin is put it in a jar, so far we have £22 since the beginning of November. £2 coins don't seem to be in wide circulation so we only get one occasionally. You have to be disciplined though cos say you got 8 £2 coins in change from breaking a tenner you have to put all the coins in the jar. One of my DHs collegues did it and saved up £300 in a year to put towards a holiday.

I'm still in bed with DS1 jumping up and down on the bed, have managed to get 4ozs into teething DS2 and looks like he's got a cold. I'm determined to do the lounge to L3 as hasn't been done for ages, I'm glad it's the lounge as can just put the heater on in that room to keep the kids warm and work around them.

Right best get a move on, need to sort the kids first, will post back later XxX

    Oh, my list:

Housework only gets noticed when it's not done.
My fake plants died because I did not pretend to water them.
Can never keep up with the thread - otherwise I'll never get anything done! But hugs to All :grouphug:
