Do all your neighbours have problems? Do you have a management company or freeholder who you could ask to sort it out? And have you asked the council for help? Or as a last resort, could you get a cat?!
I really MUST go to bed, or I'll never get going in the morning!
Its my dads house......so hes my *kinda* landlord although we pay no rent at the minHes paying for the traps, poison etc and (before OH moved in or if OH is at work) is driving round to come and dispose of any bodies of ones we catch cos i cant stomach that bit!:rotfl:
Dad has offered to pay the council charges.. but i have refused to arrange it because he recently had to pay £60 to get a wasps nest in our loft sprayed and i dont wanna be paying them again when it wont solve the problem..... i had them last year too.. and my nan had them every winter when she lived here...it doesnt help our block is a small terrace of 4 houses and 2 of the houses are old people who dont have the neatest or cleanest houses but are dear old friends of the family so cant really complain
i would LOVE a cat...we both want one but it wouldnt be fair at min... too much work still to do on the house so too much chaos to get lost in...... plus I want a rescue cat if we get one and i dont think we'd pass the house inspection TBH!! (i nearly died when the midwife came and saw my 1970's carpets, bare plaster walls and bare floorboards- i thought she might not let us keep the baby :rotfl: )
So suppose I'll just have to get used to living with them for now....I do plan on getting a cat when DD is a bit older though (plus at the mo her beatings have me in tears so id hate to think what she'd do to some poor cat!) ..... OH seems to have his eye on a german shephard puppy though...... hmmm...0 -

Greenbee - I checked email just now - and I've replied!
Boy was it cold in the night. I woke up two or three times to find the dog had nicked the top cover so I had to nick it back! Then the fox was barking away again. I'm tired this morning!
Hope you all have a good and trouble free day. Will catch up tonightI am the leading lady in the movie of my life

we would have had four if our lovely big red boy had lived but sadly he had cardiomyopathy (some Maine Coon cats carry the gene) and he died in our arms at only 22 months. My DH is a big man, 6 foot tall and well-built and he and I both cried like babies.
Big hugs menolly, we had the same thing with Murphy, he was only 18 months old:(The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
