morning all:)
today I will/have done:
- make a loaf in BM
- Iron all school uniform
- make traybake for kids lunchboxes for the week
- not do a wash:D ( not quite enough to do a full load, will wait for tomorrow)
- Take off all fronts of xmas cards and recycle backs (future craft projects)
- check banking update spreadsheets
- make raspberry coulis from leftover raspberries in freezer for cheesecake!November NSD's - 70 -
Been out to ASDA and that's probably me in for the day now - bought some veg to make soup which will last a few days;
Will do some comps later;
Will check Quidco and Pigsback;
Will check my lottery numbers (in hope more than expectation!);
Will watch more football on the telly on Setanta (so no reason whatsoever to go out!)
Oh, and this sounds really really cheap, but I'm wrapping birthday presents in wallpaper today. No, no, it's from a feature wall and is turqouise and silver so looks great with some blue boys and ribbons. I just can't see the point of buying some when I have a roll (minus 10") in the loft!Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -
So far I have:
x checked online banking and sorted out a muddle (caused by me)
x had eggs from hens for breakfast
x put damp clothes (which were put out on the line yesterday) on airer to finish off drying
Later I will:
x make storecupboard lunch and supper
x walk dogs - free exercise
x get ready for work tomorrow

Spent the morning in bed with Jamie and Nigella. I love lying in bed looking through cookery books on a Sunday morning.
Then to the library to use their free internet, books and heating.
Raided my 20p jar to get some treats from the poundshop.
Have made bacon, butterbean and leek soup to take for a winter picnic this afternoon.0 -
Good Morning
Hopefully today will be a better moneysaving day today.:o
So today
I have started doing washing from holiday brought it home rather than pay someone to do it. (bedding towels etc)
I have listed all the food in cupboard and freezer, quite well stocked so wont need to go food shopping much this month:D
Will go and pickup car, a good friend is lending us whilst we sort ours with the garage (see yesterdays post for details:rolleyes::eek:)
Go to allotment and get veg for week
Get diary and list what I need to do for week
No heating on at minute so I am sitting with a fleece wrapped round me:p
Call gatwick worth to pay for hand luggage to be forwarded to me (see yesterdays post ........:D)
Photograph wall knocked over by low loader (you guessed it, see yesterdays.........:D) so dh can clear it away
a nsd, apart from petrol for car
look at budget see where I can tweak it for month
Try and stay warm as cheaply as possible:D
Have a good day
My finances are work in progress.Normal veiwing will resume shortly0 -
Morning All :hello:
Still on holiday, and not properly in the swing of things but today
I have/will:- keep up with my notebook system, I've listed all the presents I bought on-line on boxing day in the sales (due to be delivered on 7th) against the names of people, so that Christmas 2009 doesn't see me with 3 presents for one person, and gaps for other. It also stops me buying toys, cos when I think about it, none of my nephews/nieces are THAT young :rotfl:
- Also in the notebook are my challenges for January and updates (none so far
) and my spending diary etc. - I've cooked Popeye some cottage pies for his freezer (he can do a mean bar b q, but misses home cooking
) to save him buying ready meals or worse, eating out. - Decided to skip going to the Sunday touristy/craft market. I was going to do some research, but we know that will end up costing money
So possibly a NSD
(I'm back in February :j ) 0 -
Good morning folks

Today I have already:
[strike]Checked online banking
Made my PAD
Done loads of dishes
Cleaned out a drawer that was really manky in the kitchen
[/strike]
I still have to:
- Finish the dishes

- Clean the kitchen surfaces
- Make soup
- Update my spending diary
- Sort out Washing Mountain (I'm going to move this from the bedroom to the living room as there is a marathon of House on Hallmark, so that will help distract me!)
- Throw old clothes in bags for the charity shop
- Tidy the living room
- Hoover and mop

- Change the bedclothes
- Put away the Christmas tree

Have a lovely Sunday
0 - Finish the dishes
