Sunday 4/1/09 What small dfw things have you done today???

:DWhen we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.:D

Today i will:
  • make a loaf in breadmaker - done
  • check online banking - done
  • move some money into savings - done
  • update spreadsheets
  • sandwiches for lunch from last nights buffet
  • pasta salad for tea from last nights buffet
  • batch cooking session with yesterdays carrots and sprouts
  • swim and jacuzzi to use gym membership
  • reduce, reuse, recycle one thing - yesterdays buffet food;)
  • go to costco for oldies and fill up with petrol at cheap garage on way
  • clean flat with stardrops and microfibre cloths
  • laundry hokey cokey - OH will be doing this;)
  • do one thing just for fun -
  • sparkle - purple/lilac stripey socks today
Good morning everyone. It is freezing here today.
Lots to do and need to go to costco this morning too for work. Hope you all have a great day, hugs to anyone still feeling poorly, hope you feel better soon.Welcome to any newbies and welcome back to anyone returning:D

Catch up with you all later:D
Reduce,re-use, recycle.

    Hi everyone

    Things today:

Watching Eastenders on iPlayer at the moment from New Year's Day, keeping me busy until brunch (oooooh!) time - we're having chips, egg and beans to use up the eggs and fill us up so we don't need lunch.

Using 50% off voucher at La Tasca later to celebrate buying my engagement ring :)
CC statement came through online, only went £5 over my £300 budget this month so can hopefully reduce the limit this month.

Daily scratch - 10p again, booo.

Make a few meals from stores to last me at work this week.

Not much else except keep warm as long as possible without the heating!

    Enjoy your days everyone

    xx
