Well I've started on the CO trail! My hair is ( or has been should I say) VERY greasy and even if I wash it in the evening it would still look grim by the morning.
The last time I used shampoo was last Thursday, something I never thought I would hear myself saying!, and being as the only conditioner I had in the house was Pantene time delay I have been using that. My hair has not had the stringy greasyness I'm used to although I think the time delay conditioner conditioner is a bit heavy for using every time. I bought a bottle of johnsons baby conditioner (which smells fab!!) today and will use that and then deeper condition with the pantene when needed.
Just for info I have very fine hair but lots of it! It is slightly longer than shoulder length and highlighted.

I used to get a really itchy, sensitive scalp after washing my hair so decided to try a totally natural shampoo, they washed my hair okay but I found it hard to get used to the lack of lather. Then I tried PureNuffStuff's hair & body bars and they're fantastic, they have a wonderful lather, get my hair squeaky clean and great to use in the shower because you can use it from top to toe! They only cost about £3 each and last for ages, I would never go back to a "normal" shampoo now.

Well, I have been washing my hair with conditioner for 2 weeks and I think I have started to turn the corner!! I gave up on the baby conditioner as it made my hair awful! I have stuck with the pantene time delay.
I dont consider myself a vain person but there have been a couple of times when I nearly gave up as my hair was greasy and horrible. I have been trying to stop washing my hair every day so in the begining my scalp was still producing loads of grease. Up till today when I have gone to dry my hair it still felt a bit greasy and when it was dry looked that way aswell but tonight it is lovely, so soft and shiny!! I am glad I stuck with it now, as I said, hopefully I have turned the corner!!

  • Always Harassed - Was told by the staff at Clinique that I am the only person who has had a reaction to their products.

Oh no you're not! I have had to stop using Clinique stuff on my face because of the hysterical sneezing that always ensues. Clinique is so full of chemicals...

Try some really cheap basic conditioner, it works a treat I promise you, you're not using it for the conditioning qualities - keep your pantene for extra conditioning once a week, promise you it'll work!

    Use an egg?

Also, go to the doctor and get an allergy test.

Hi Always Harrased I had terrible bother with an itchy scalp for over a year I tried all of the products above (not dissing them, hopefully they will work for you) but was still driven mad, fearing I would be mistaken for someone riddled with nit's I took myself off to the Dr who prescribed me Nizoral anti dandruff shampoo ( I didn't think I had dandruff) and it was the only thing that worked. I'm not sure but I think you can buy it in Boots, perhaps elsewhere.

can i ask how long it took to work, my scalp is really sensitive but with loads of dandruff too (no fun with an all black uniform!!!) the docs gave me one course which i dont think made a difference, i used it about twice a week for a couple of months, went back to them and theyve said to try it again!

It stopped itching really quickly I would say it was all clear within a few weeks , not an expert but surely it should have helped by now.
Did manage to find a Charles Worthington shampoo no flakes dundruff stuff today in TJ Hughes which I think they've stopped making, was the only shampoo that stopped my itchy scalp a few years ago so I was all excited when I saw it and got 2 bottles!!
    Booo!!!
