Why dont you share your glee of life with neverdespairgirl? She/He also enjoys bragging about how nice his/her life is, and the property possessions and successes of his/her family.

It is not glee I just had a wake up call one day, took a look around me and thought what am I doing ,if you knew me you would know that I live very simply ,possessions mean very little to me and as long as I am warm and fed and clothed and my children are happy that is all I really need in life.

You're not pickled pink by any chance are you?

By the way, she doesn't boast, she just gives information about her life the same as everyone here.

She is also a very lovely lady.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Lets face it renting is a second class lifestyle for those that must

    <Faces it>

    Nope, not true for us.

I regard money paid in rent as live money, which rather usefully secures a roof over my family's head. Which comes in handy, especially when it's cold or raining.

I'll publish the address in this forum later next week :-)

Then I will out NDG :)

I've never thought harrassing people and threatening to harrass them is a particularly good idea, myself.

Renting is okay. If you still want to remain free it's the only way isn't it??

I've always thought it wise to be careful, sparing with personal information on forums - there really are some unpleasant nutters out there.

You sound very bitter I feel sorry for you .

But then he is only a sad git that lives on his own in a 3 bed council house in Yorkshire. Sitting in on his own all Saturday night when most single guys are out with their mates on the pull.
    Sad or not?
Is their a lonlely hearts section on the forum for him?
  • This thread pretty much sums up why I post less and less on the Housing forum. No debate, just childish name calling. I just despair when I read this crap. I wish these kids would just go out and play instead of sitting inside on their parent's computers making purile personal comments.

As far as the OP is concerned, if you rent a house and the rent is less than you would pay on an Interest Only mortgage, then renting makes more financial sense than buying. If you rent and pay more than you would do with a repayment mortgage, the repayment part of the mortgage (above the interest payments) is the dead bit of money.

However it all depends on your personal circumstances.
    Mortgage Free in 3 Years (Apr 2007 / Currently / Δ Difference)
    [strike]● Interest Only Pt: £36,924.12 / £ - - - - 1.00 / Δ £36,923.12[/strike] - Paid off! Yay!! :)
    ● Home Extension: £48,468.07 / £44,435.42 / Δ £4032.65
    ● Repayment Part: £64,331.11 / £59,877.15 / Δ £4453.96
    Total Mortgage Debt: £149,723.30 / £104,313.57 / Δ £45,409.73
