We are sticks in the mud and don't celebrate it. It's just a day that's been made up.

    Hi

Hope you dont mind me joining in!

Me and my oh are going to have a nice romantic meal in and then go down the pub. Not buyin each other presents this year as we are going away on Sunday 15 to the Lake District (my Christmas present to him and the kids are away from early Saturday morning for 4 days!) and will need all our spare spends on that!

I am going to have a go at making the origami stars and stringing them up in the kitchen when we are having our meal. I'm going to get some cheap things from Poundland to use on the table so it will be nice.

I am useless at baking, but I would really like to bake a cake of some description. I don't like chocolate so thats out. Any ideas?

    thanks!

Oh sounds like you are going to have a nice few days away!
I haven't attempted making the stars yet but I think I'll have a go.

For those of you doing hampers on a budget - or even breakfast in bed - I thought these looked quite cute:
    heart teabags

And if you were going to buy chololate anyway, you can make your own chocolate wrapper

    Brilliant ideas, thank you :T

I told him to choose, me or her, and yesterday he moved into my new house with me, and he has just booked a trip to venice for valentines day!!!! Now all we have to do is get his now ex-girlfriend out of my other house (which she is refusing to do) and things will be great.
