My OH and I are going to the gallery at bluewater - got tickets from a friend for xmas and as I am a student and he has just bought his own place it seemed like a clever idea... as for presents I bought him some fragrance in the sale... done! haha ;)
  • Tradition for me and my OH on valentine's day (well, for 2 out of 2 so far...) usually involves me cooking a nice dinner, having a bottle of cheap bubbles, and at least one of us buying the other a Lush massage bar ;) We don't go in for very much creative or expensive, but just see it as a chance to have a proper night together.
  • get whisked away by Prince Charming for a candlite dinner and a walk under the stars.

    *then i woke up*

Well i guess theres still a few weeks left

Well, we're jetting off on Valentine's day.

He's going to Poland for a week

    I'm off to Italy:rotfl:
Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!
  • I'm going to make a bunch of origami stars, kinda like confetti, - and possibly some origami hearts to go inside my little hamper for OH, and to scatter on the table for our meal. here's the link for the stars let me know if anyone manages to do them :) i haven't made any as of yet. http://www.viewdo.com/now_viewing.php?id=118

I'd love to be whisked away to a travel lodge we never get anywhere these days we are always stuck at home with no cash :( but we make do with what we got.

I got some really nice heart lights that i bought from tescos a few years ago when i first met OH but ended up living with my mum and dad so didn't get to use them, but will set them up around our bed this year with some nice rose petals, and poems laid out. Was thinking of using all the candle holders we got for our wedding and lighting them in a trail with little clues to his hamper. Not sure yet we'll see :)

    anymore ideas would be great!

I'm buying my boyf a copy of Jeremy Clarkson book (£6 at the mo' in Waterstones sale), decorating ready made muffins with red icing and love hearts and one of those extra large bottles of lager from Tesco- the 660ml ones.

Costs just over a tenner, only slightly romantic but definitely things I know he'll like :)

  • Talkhard - why buy one for £6 when you can get 7 for £8.99 - I bought these for my husband for xmas and he loves them. http://www.thebookpeople.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_10001_10051_138340_100_500020__category_

I'm sure there is a free postage code somewhere around.

Just didn't want you paying £6 for 1 when you can get 6 extra for £3

    HTH

EDIT: OOoo that is if he hasn't already got them :/ I didn't think before I posted that your OH may already have these lol oops! sorry!

Thankyou for the link to the stars they look fab ... I am thinking you could probably cut your own strips of paper aswell and make them up, rather than buying some?? not sure on the size but one of the links she provides at the side of the video should have some kind of sizing on ... I will have a look and see, I think they look fab and would be ideal for hamper makers as a finishing effect ;) very mse aswell :)
