Does anyone know where I could find some plastic heart shaped cookie cutters?
We're going to Cardiff for the rugby on Sat (I'm Welsh, he's English - won't be romantic for one of us) so I was going to make him heart-shaped American pancakes with bacon and maple syrup for breakfast before we go. I've got metal cutters but just bought a nice new frying pan so don't want to scratch it straight away!
I've seen a recipe for mini chocolate chilli bites so I may make some of them to have with some Champagne when we get back - if we're still in a good enough state for it after the rugby celebrating/commiserating  !Life must be lived forwards, but can only be understood backwards - Kierkegaard0 -

If you have heart cutters already could you cook normal round pancakes and then cut heart shapes out of the cooked pancake once out of the pan? You could eat the scraps that are left whilst cooking the rest:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
That sounds like a plan - I have trouble with seeing the obvious sometimes! :rolleyes:Life must be lived forwards, but can only be understood backwards - Kierkegaard0

I've gotten:
Love hearts 30.5p (2 4-packs for 61p in co-op so I get some to eat too)
A netted bag of chocolate hearts from Somerfield 49p (On offer because of their closing down sale)
A mirrored plaque with a poem on from Poundland (Looks very nice surprisingly) http://www.poundland.com/pages/offers/romantic_2.aspx
A blindfold and ribbon set from Poundland (Bit of a joke but for a £1 it had to be done)
A single red wooden rose (Bought at a market at 20p each)
Heart shaped fuzzy car dice (25p in QD during their Christmas sale)
And a few other things I can't find but will dig out today. Really haven't had to spend much but got lots of lovely presents. Also need to finish the love vouchers I'm adding.
Strictly I can also add a very nice black/red lace basque I bought myself to his gift list - as he will be the one seeing it! :rotfl: I have a feeling that's the thing he'll be most interested in!
Now all in the bin. I will be spending Valentine's day alone, because surprise surprise again the SOB let me down.
I hope everyone else has a lovely time, I'm honestly jealous that you all have good decent OH's. Maybe one day I'll be as lucky. The "Bloodlust" Clique - Morally equal to all. just need a small thing for tomorrow as i already hae doen everythign else?
there isnt a co-op near me!0 -
Oh Plushroom, I am so sorry to hear that. I do hope it all works out for the best, if he doesn't treat you the way you deserve then you really are better off without him. But i know that can take a while to realise.
Hugs to you x
I went to M&S last night and was really impressed by the £20 deal, I got some really fancy shell fish starters (£5), chunky chips (£2.50), sirlion steak (£10), cheese selection (£4), cava (£9) and a rose (£3) so saved £14.50. I was a little wary about it being double the usual price but when I got there and saw the options I really think it is worth it.0 -

I Hope Everys Goes Well As Planned!
For two weeks OH and I planned to stay in bed the whole day  but I had some suprises for him which weren't really anything but I know he'd like. But we just found out his nan has a tumourand they are operating on her on Monday so he's flying out to New York tomorrow to go see her.
There goes my plan.
I might just buy the ticket for him0
