Awh your scrapbook page is so cute, I love it! Something for me to think about for Fathers day! Do you mind me asking what you've used, I'm a scrapbook beginner, I've not got a clue when it comes to buying paper!

hels as you can see my page is very basic compared with others!! I am new to scrapbooking and used what I had in the house (not alot!). the paper I used is some I had left over from my door hangers and the embelishments are from lets make cards. I also printed a quote from the internet.
pinkladymel gave me a few suggestions on the layout - thanks mel!
I think I will look for more papers for the next one but I am quite pleased with the way it turned out.

bunbun thanks for that, I don't think your page is basic at all, I think it's perfect, I've got so many things I want to do but I think this is going to be the first task for me! You know the anchors you've got is that a paper on it's own or did you print them from the internet? Also the words family did you just use sticky letters? Sorry for all the questions, you've just really inspired me now!

Steph I saw the heart cake moulds in Lidli today I was tempted but thought nah my cakes never rise! I'm opting out and buying heart biscuits from Asda's. It's my OH's bday on Sat aswell I should be baking a Birthday cake really!

  • I think I'm almost organised for valentines now, got all the bits I need, just got to decorate the plain white box I got to put everything with hearts and write the card.

    I've gotten:

    Love hearts 30.5p (2 4-packs for 61p in co-op so I get some to eat too :D)
A netted bag of chocolate hearts from Somerfield 49p (On offer because of their closing down sale)
A mirrored plaque with a poem on from Poundland (Looks very nice surprisingly) http://www.poundland.com/pages/offers/romantic_2.aspx
A blindfold and ribbon set from Poundland (Bit of a joke but for a £1 it had to be done)
A single red wooden rose (Bought at a market at 20p each)
Heart shaped fuzzy car dice (25p in QD during their Christmas sale)

And a few other things I can't find but will dig out today. Really haven't had to spend much but got lots of lovely presents. Also need to finish the love vouchers I'm adding.

Strictly I can also add a very nice black/red lace basque I bought myself to his gift list - as he will be the one seeing it! :rotfl: I have a feeling that's the thing he'll be most interested in!

Hopefully he'll think the same. I just found the fireplace dvd I bought on eBay too, it's the closest we'll get to snuggling in front of a roaring fire! Ah well, maybe one day...with a bit more planning!

Love the rice krispie heart you and your DS made, very cute!

I've been thinking the same Plushroom wondering if he will actually appreciate all the time and effort I've put into making him all I've done! I've just finished my jar of promises for him I'm really pleased with it, I've scrolled each promise up and tied it with ribbon they look lovely!!

Ooh I've got that fireplace DVD!
