Another positive baby story, an old work colleague found out she was pregnant at 18, finished her A Levels while pregnant, then took a year out and had baby and is now happily juggling parenthood and uni. She's studying Law. I hate how people stereotype young mums!No longer using this account for new posts from 20130

I think parenting makes or breaks friendships tbh....I 'drifted' away from a couple of friends who tried to force their parenting style on me.....(I am sure wearing odd socks never really had any effect on my kids mental health!)
One 'friend' who scared me to death cos she talked dead posh and had lovely manners became my best mate......cos she is seriously nuts.....:rotfl:

We've just never had a proper routine and having spent today decorating the kitchen, and making it look lovely, I want to make sure we keep the whole house sparkly and clean like that

DD1 has already been through that now.....People always assume first that she is Chloe's mum. Then when they find out she isn't they look at me and then DD1 and say 'so exactly how old are you then?' Then usually followed by 'so she was a mistake then?
