Morning Campers!
How's everyone today? Had a bit of a crap sleep last night but determined to stay happy today.:p

If DH doesn't go to the gym after work today after work, I'm going to hightail it down and have a wee workout then I need to run a few errands.

My hair is in such a state with all the colour fiascos Im really not sure what to do about it. I think I may just have to chop it all off *sigh*

Ah well, it's just hair and it could be worse couldn't it? I could be losing it entirely for some reason. :o

Then, home to take down Xmas deccies. Tonight, DH is on night so I think I shall have a bit of a pamper session and do a mask in a bubble bath etc.

It's brrrrrrrrrrrr cold here this morning! DS keeps saying its 'Froggy' (Frosty and Foggy mixed up):T

    Morning :hello:

I've been up since six o'clock, woken by the sounds of Miss Twit being poorly :( (sorry if TMI)

I've entered a few comps and I'm now turning my barginanimous double cream into butter, it's all in the wrist you know ;)

Trying to have a tidy round/sort out....where can I get cheap box files from

Have a great day everyone :grouphug:

Morning Twit - hope Miss Twit feels better soon...not the best way to start your weekend I'd imagine.

I got a load of box files from Freecycle last year - might be worth an ask....failing that might be worth seeing if viking or staples are doing any offers via quidco.

I never find any bargin cream for the butter making - I'm sure someone will be along later to make the smutty wrist action comment that I'm not going to make being that I'm innocent

Off to friends for tea this evening, they seem to be constantly rowing tho so not sure we'll be staying that long.....DD's will need to be prised from their pits first and scrubbed to look presentable.

I was talked into giving both DD's pink streaks before Christmas (they're 10 and 13) The "wash out in 20 washes" dye doesn't seem to be shifting to fast though....the head and shoulders is fading it but not getting rid....me thinks I shall have some grovelly letter writing to do on monday to the schools :D

Hope you all have a great day.

    Good idea about freecycle Pooky,
I got the cream from an independant supermarket. They had reduced 500ml pots from £1.69 to 42p this was on NYE and the use by date is today.

Arghhh about the hair, if you'd wanted it to last, it would have vanished in about 2 washes.

  • Ooooh merged, and so early! lol

Good idea about the cream thing-never thought of doing that! It's quite easy to do just by keeping it in a container with a TIGHT lid and shaking shaking shaking!

Hope Miss Twit is ok-too much alcofrol? Or the dreaded flu?

No, for once Alcofrol has nothing to do with Miss Twit  I think it was too much junk yesterday.

I'm using a jam jar for my shaking.

Morning Halight and Bookie, has Sam Spade played his part:D

    How's thee and the Spade?

Armed and dangerous? I just finished my first book of the year and highly enjoyed it- 'Flora' (total chic lit, but fun easy reading) Am also plowing thru a DaVinci wannabe book about the Turin Shroud but it's hard going, really not enjoying it so picked up the last Freya North I've not read (sally) and so far, so good. Was up til after 1 reading as couldn't sleep *sigh*

Well, THAT was a load of ramble eh?
Sorry folks-craving a bit of adult conversation I think...

Yes thanks. I think Samantha Spade is more appropriate. It's us women who do all the work!
