Morning all.

Sorry Miss Twit is unwell - my DD has had a terrible cold for almost 2 weeks now but thankfully the rest of us have managed to avoid it.

Love the idea of making butter - how long do you have to beat or shake it for??

Another 'stiff washing on the line' day! Very cold again and white everywhere. Turned out lovely yesterday, quite warm in the sun so hope for that again today and will rescue the washing!

OH is off hill walking in the Brecons so a nice quiet day for me to get on with my assignment for college ...... it's finance! Not our type of budgeting though, it's all about public sector accounts, government spending, cost benefit analysis and other such interesting subjects! Will try to get it cracked today as due in on Monday and want tomorrow free to give the house a final clean after Christmas and before we all go back to our usual routines of work, school and college.

Have noticed lots of people have taken their decorations down .... isn't it bad luck to do it before 5th Jan?? I suppose that's only for the superstitious .... I'd so love to get it all cleared away now!

Morning all.....bunny shall i ask DD1 if she will look at your hair tomorrow...she is at work and I don't know what she is doing....but I could ask????

I am feeling better, but I feel like someone has stuck an axe between my eyes and every time I move my eyes it hurts....

I have nearly finished spooks series 3.....only 4 more hours to go!!!! Trouble is I have to keep rewinding cos I fall asleep half way through episodes..;.

Sammy, I think I am resigned to having to chop it off.
It just looks so horrible right now-two-toned and the ends are sticky because its been over processed. Only route I think is to start a fresh...good thing it grows like a weed.

Morning all! Sorry to hear about the hair traumas Bun...that sort of thing would have freaked me out a few years ago-now? Well, it's not forever is it? And like you said , your hair could be falling out through illness etc .. my BF is off to NYC a week today to see cancer specialist. I'm hoping to pull in some old favours with BA and get them some "comfier" seats-fingers crossed!
Taking kids shopping with their Xmas vouchers today-I don't want to risk shops going bust before they spend them!

Didn't mean to bum you out Bun!Think of your hair as just making you individual!No-one else has hair like that! I once had a perm and colour done at the same time (1980s-can't you tell?) which is apparantly a no-no....it was biblically bad for about 4 months...didn't wanna go out of the house for ages!
