    Yup over we all go.

Hand is very, very sore. Changed to smaller bandage, so that disturbed it a bit. Is leaving me totally knackered.
    How's the wrist?

Hey Hun....disrubting it can be very wearisome........I've been encouraged to "disturb" mine every day since I gfot it out of plaster and have never been sure if that is right move.....

So, first time ever...the damn thing starts itching like mad two days ago..(cos I stopped "disturbing it" for a period of 4 weeks.....Now when I were a lass, i was taught that itching means it's starting to heal....finally after 9 months...but still got adhesions and lack of mobility so wondering if I need to attack it with meat tenderiser to "disturb it" again :confused::confused::D

    Hugs ...know how you feel......

Think we've found a van already :) Just needs a final once over next week.

Ouch, do you have to have physio on it or are you already? I can pick up cutlery now and almost type, so getting on, stitches come out Tuesday.

    Hi G

It's great news you can pick up cutlery before the stitches have come out, you;re doing really well. I'm 9 months on from my op and still not able to get coins out of my purse without a terrible fumbling pallava :D How are you getting on with the typing - are you one or many fingers??

I had no physio at all.....but was given exercises to do by occupational therapy - (think I pulled one of my "coloured rubbers" out at the DFW meet in Leeds last year:eek: ;) )....... and I have to stroke the back of the hand with all different types of textures - fur, wool, towel, silk etc in order of least painful first to try and de-sensitise it :o

Ex OH has just given me a gyroscope ball thingie that is meant to be brilliant for improving strength etc (once you get the hang of it and I have to say I'm pretty useless :rotfl: ).........when i find the web site I'll PM you the details.

Really pleased to hear you're recovering well.....
