Hit another minor snag, our suite is dying
The springs in one of the chairs has gone and it's so bad that it's going to ruin the wood floor if anyone sits in it. The sofa is sagging. It's all about 20 years old. So next thing after the boiler is a new suite!

You could always try freecycle?

I hope your folks are being more active in the finances hun. Still don't think it's particularly fair you being burdened with it all but I'll shut up in case I upset you. :silenced:
Don't know what sort of budget you have but I used these guys and found them alot cheaper than the normal high street stores.

All quiet and good for now, just need to start getting some income in, January is a slow starter.
Next step is to reclaim some charges and CCA a creditor.southernscouser wrote: »I hope your folks are being more active in the finances hun. Still don't think it's particularly fair you being burdened with it all but I'll shut up in case I upset you. :silenced:

Yeah they are and dad's paying me to do his accounts as he'd have to pay an accountant anyway.
Thanks will have a look.No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
Another carppy January draws to a close and once again we are in the poo. £770 short on the normal monthly wage and no money for food or bills for February. Grr.No longer using this account for new posts from 20130

Haven't updated for a while. February was much better wages-wise, picked up to a little above normal so if March is also good, we should even out okay.
Only making minimum payments at the moment as we have no cards to overpay (:j). One of the DMP creditors has a CCA, another is shortly due a charges letter.
Onwards and upwards. Oh and as of the 15th, we'll have £2500 in savingsNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
Little milestones for us....
* Savings have hit £3k
* Van is dying but dad's boss is helping to replace it :T
* HSBC card is gone...all £8k of it :j (Went to DCA, asked for CCA as they'd bumped the charges, no reply so we aren't paying).
So allllllll good
Nearly a third of the debt gone :eek: Must play with the snowballNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130
