Hi mum2one, yes its put me back 2 months on my debt free journey!! so I am going to tackle the playroom and get listing some toys and stuff.
Just done my Monthly shop.£93 so see how far that lasts me. I spent £60 on some clothes today for me and the kids. Kids need shoes next!! ekk Thats costs a fortune! I did get some CSA today too but no back pay.. its better than nothing!
yes Holiday was good and the last for a long time!
How you been?
Will catch u on your Diary in a bit xBR on 21st December 2009.. life begins!0 -
Youve done brilliantly with the shopping bill, is it hit the freezer and raid the cupboards exercise. Sorry youve been put back by 2 months with the debts, sods law isnt it!.
As they say doing a bit missing a bit, got lumbered with a load of bank charges, which didnt help matters (£315 charges + £30 unauthorised od) so did start Jan with all the best intentions to have it upturned, but I guess the debt free road isnt always going to be straight. Guess its payback for some of the nice times!!
Glad u got some CSA, are they going to get it sorted, u need to know where you are. xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
had to spend £2.40 today on dinner forgot my packed lunch!! uggg!! Havent spent anything else, DD has been baking this afternoon! think I have managed to catch up on the washing had loads to do from Ski in!!
I had a lovely suprise today, an old friend asked me to join him in ireland for the weekend all paid for.. Brilliant, I cant knock that can I,as long as mum can have the kids for me! oh and the dog!
I rang Bt today and my contract with them runs out in april.. im going to cancel it and save 40 a month, just used the internet at work in the day, then when things get better I will treat myself to the luxry of a home phone!! I figured that I got a mobile If I really need to talk to someone as i get unlimited calls and Text for £35 a month and i am in contract for 12 months or so.
I really am cutting back to catch up on the 2 months..

Well Work is Dead looks like I might be out of a job by the end of the month.I applied to the Job centre today, to see what benifits I would get if the company went boobies up! I am waiting for a phone call, I dont know what I will do! Its £452 a month.. and WFTC make up the rest, so I need to find a job ASAP.
Spent £7 yesterday on Swimming for me and the kids.
spent £40 on a new tyre for the car today but nothing else.. went to the Library today and got some good books on Debt management and thrifty living.A friend lent me a DVD to watch tonight too.
CSA payments are all to poo...I now can not rely on them either! It just gets worse as the kids both need new shoes!!!
Ekk!!BR on 21st December 2009.. life begins!0 -
I managed to get the kids a pair of shoes each and only sent £32. I was well pleased with that, our local shoe shop is closing down.. which is not good as our town will shortly become a ghost town, shops are shutting daily.. havent spent anything else NSD tomorrow and lunch at mum and dads.
Today I have-
Moved a old bath in to my Veg garden to grow potatoes in, DS and me got some stones for dranage and I filled it will old soil and compost lying about the garden,I still need to put some more in as its not even half full, Potatoes will go in end of march.
I found some old wood in the shed that I have chopped up for the fire.
I checked the horses feet and gave him a good brush, DD rode him for all of 10 mins then got upset and got off him.. I wish she would start her period soon as its doing my head in all these mood swings.
DS then went on his quad so everyone happy today, havent watched the film but im going to tonight.
Tomorrow im cleaning out the play room... see what i can flog..
