Welcome to my world!!!! I've been on my own for 23 months now (not that I am counting :rotfl: ). The only thing I can say is that it get easier with time. I really should get off my fat a$$ and get out 'there' looking.

Well Done re-jigging your numbers....you can rest easy knowing that everything is heading in the right direction.

    Keep your chin up.

I've been technically single since was 7mts gone with dd, just realised thats 6yrs 6mths..........apart from 3 holiday romances (took a bit of me time, and have had 6 hols when dd was younger - for circumstances beyond my control we live with my parents.....) though I'm still in touch with my 1st hol romance, hes a great guy, he knows about dd, but we stay in touch as friends).

Think I'm too stubord for a long term relationship x

My lo doesn't see her dad often and only in my house. My way or no way.

I don't get any me time as such but to be honest I don't think I could have it any other way.

I miss geting into bed with someone....still don;t sleep too well. I keep reaching out for him during the night! (really must stop this!!)

I had by chatting to guy online, then texts, then on the phone for a few months and he just vanished into the ether!!!!

Gd for you sticking to your way or no way, my dd has never seen her dad, the odd thing is it was him who wanted children, but thats a different story, he was not a nice guy, and he wanted to see her when she was 3 mths old, I blocked it, the CSA are useless, I dont get a penny, but at least I know that Im doing the best thing I can for her x

My ex left us just before lo was four months.

Truth be told I always wanted children, regardless of whether or not there was a man in the picture, but then met himself, was chased, fell madly in love and all that. He is also not a nice/good guy. When we were trying for out baby, he started seeing someone else, when I was in having the c-section he was with her!!!! And I have since found out there was more than just one. The stories I have are endless.....

Hope you have a brill time on your holiday....I can't wait until I have debt paid off so that lo and I can go away, just the two of us.

Some men are unbelievable arent they, met my ex through work, he said he'd recently moved to the area, split up from his wife new start, come from London to the midlands,............yes his wife had left him, but he missed the vital point, she was at her majestys pleasure!!
But regardless of what happened, I have the most beautiful daughter, with my medical history, a miracle.

Your going great guns with the debt, the thing is Rome wasnt built in a day, and I'm slowly learning that principle with debt repayment!!

    You take care xxx

  • Hi Mum to one, I have had some good news today, CSA managed to get hold of Ex hubby, he was so sorry he had not realised that the standing order had expired!! and that he made a payment then and there and is willing to make over payments every week!! I was in shock! but I wont believe it till its in my bank!
I went in to boots today and they have a 75% sale, I managed to get £90 worth of gifts for next xmas for £30!! Bargin id say as I got some nice stuff, and saved some money in the long run!
Apart from that I havent spent anything else, I made a soup/Stew with left over bits I had in the freezer, just had it now with mashed potatoe... yummy. got some left for my lunch tomorrow.
My fridge is bare as we are going away next week I only bought milk and bread to see us till saturday, I am going to go on line later and do my food shopping so that it comes on the sunday we get back, I have to remember on my budget that next week I wont be spending £20 on derv or £30 on food.
Hope your all ok and keep your chin up.. us women are soooo strong...
were doing it on our own!
    xx

    OMG.....well done you!!!

I really wish someone would find my ex.....I'm paying off his debt and he ca;t even be bothered to contribute to raising his daughter.

I run through Boots on the way home most evenings, but I can't bring myself to stop....would spend an absolute fortune.....not such a good idea

thats brillaint news about ex, sounds like it was a genuine mistake, hope the money reappears soon.

Sounds like u had a gd spend in boots, might pop in 2mor, weve got 2 Boots. one in town, big size, then one a retail park, went in there 2nd day of the 50% sale and there was onlt about 20things left, so fingers crossed the town store might be better!! Dont want to spend too much, just need more mens odds and sods.
