Large lamb shoulder, soaked in water for a couple of hours to drain the blood out of it
Scored the flesh at the top
Herbs and pepper sprinkled over the top
Garlic put into the cuts in the top of the meat
Should be ready in about three hours, and will hopefully be very tasty. I have grand schemes for making something tasty with leftovers too
Oooooooh sounds fantastic....can I come up to Edinburgh for some?? (I'm only a few hours away:rotfl:)
I have quiche and oven chips for dinner....doesn't sound quite as appetisingI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

I am actually planning on finding my camera in the next ten minutes as this looks really tasty and I want to record it for posterity :rotfl: My new-found love of cooking has gone too far I think!0 -

Hiya Fresian
Not being a regular on the DFW board I have popped in because you're supporting my Flymate Flower
You (and all the other DFWs) are doing a sterling job making the effort - what I am interested in though is your switching off lights.
One of the things I do (because I am tight) is I have started turning off my microwave as it was on, day and night, telling me the time - but being used for minutes a day! and not even every day!
Did you 'doggy bag' any of the chinese (for your freezer?)Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear0 -

I didn't doggy bag the Chinese as there wasn't a scrap left0 -
Remember how aaaaaaages ago I took out a contract with Vodafone for t'other half? T-Mobile have taken two months payments from him and are telling him that it's 30 days to cancel the contract he has already cancelled.
Swines.
I have now had to lend him the last £70 in my bank account until his student loan comes through, so it's cheap fun for us for the rest of this week. Barstewards.
He is going to have to go to the bank and do a Direct Debit Indemnity and try and get the money back as T-Mobile are being *rseholes about it.
Direct quote from (my very irate) OH: "I left T-Mobile because of sh*tey billing and I'm having to call you back because of sh*tey billing."
Eek - they just told him that he is going to be getting another bill taken off at the end of next month. More charges and more nonsense. The only reason that the bill got paid this month is because his dad had given him £50 birthday money.
I'm going to put the kettle on.
