A big woohoo for F_F, keep up the good work.:j:j:j
I sympathise about work, a week ago I felt the same but somehow things have got better even though not much has changed. Hang in there, you have some good karma building, things will go well for you very soon I am sure.
I agree about the NSDs, I can't quite seem to manage them then I get annoyed at myself. It is so much better to have a weekly budget and stick to it than have the famine/feast cycle that a NSD seems to bring. I like the idea but don't think they work for me.
Anyway hump day tomorrow so nearly on the down-slope.
Keep on trucking:DWeekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

It's a lovely day today - when I woke up the sun was streaming in the windows, and the kind of day where I would bounce out of bed (Heading directly for the kettle it must be said) and start pottering about with washing and the mountain of dishes that seems to have mutated in the kitchen when I wasn't looking.
A friend of our turned up last night without warning and has stayed over, currently snoring his little head off on our couch, so I can't really blast in and put the washing machine on or start banging pots. Curse his oily hide!! I really want to put clothes out on the line this morning!
Even if I close the kitchen door while the washing machine is on, the cats will assume that this is a sinister plot to deny them the Go Cat that is rightfully theirs and will deploy a full-on paintwork-clawing attack to gain themselves entry to the kitchen. Fluffy little barstewards.
*urgh* Speaking of which, while I typed that I heard the unmistakable sound of Ernie spewing in the living room, which has woken up our guest :rotfl: Greedy little begger eats his cat biscuits too quickly sometimes which leads to these little issues. Never when t'other half is awake, only me, the girl with the world's most sensitive vomit reflex.
Right, cat puke to clean, yay!

I'm with you with the vomit reflex - couldn't even clean up the kids when they were little without joining in... Yeuchhhh!
Well, at least he's awake and you can put the machine on... silver lining and all that... ha ha

PS And I so agree, I love this forum too! The other night I went on Ebay instead of here and that was a silly silly move  - now have to confess to Lula Hula and the crazy clothes challenge!0 -
Thanks for all the applause Primula, you'll make me blush :rotfl:
I had a pretty good day today, cat puke is already forgotten about
So, good things which happened to me today:
1. On the strength of my industrial strength moaning, I have been removed from the sh*tty things that aren't my bl**dy job to do anyway tasks at work and given a whole heap of stuff to do which is interesting and will raise my profile within the business area I work in. If I do it right I shall be heaped with praise and [strike]dancing girls[/strike] the gratitude of my boss
2. It's payrise day :j:j The money doesn't go through until next months pay (poohsticks to that by the way) but I have had a payrise of £1104 per year, which will do me nicely. I pay pensions and all sorts of carp out of my monthly wage so I don't think it will feel like a huge amount of money [strike]expecially once the money grabbing f*ckwits at the student loans take their cut. I didn't even bl**dy graduate[/strike] but it's more to fling at the debts, and that's all good
3. Homemadedinnertastic Batman! My flatmate made home-made soup last night with bacon and tatties and all sorts of other goodness in it, which was our starter and we had shepherds pie for our main course which I made ages ago and froze for a day when I wouldn't be able to be bothered chopping veg and making "proper" food. No money-burning takeaway for me, no sirree!
4. I got shower gel in Boots for £1.47 which had a muckle big body lotion too - the new Nivea Happy Time one. Hurrah for bargains!
5. It's Hump Day
6. I had a scone this morning and it was goooo-oooooooooood
And so endeth the Happy Things List from Fresian Towers.
Have a good evening y'all

Hey hey hey!
That's amazing. Well done you. Cause for celebration?
Re: cat puke, one of the advantages of having a dog, they tend to eat their own puke, so saves you the hassle of having to get the mop out. Cats are definitely classier, they'd have us slaves do their own dirty work, whereas the dogs are....... well a snack's a snack!** Proud to be dealing with my debts **LBM - Jan 2009 _pale_ : £24,802.21 :eek:February 2010 :silenced: : £18,078.47 (not including OD)July 2010= £16,819.34 (not including OD)
