    Good morning!

I would like to offer a heartfelt thankyou.giftiphat.gif to all of the lovely people of PAD for their help, support and hilarity since I joined in November. It was quite exciting when I paid off my overdraft, but today.....

I PAID OFF MY BARCLAYCARD!!! yahoo.gifyahoo.gifyahoo.gifyahoo.gif

Ok, back to earth with a bump, I still have over £6,000 on a loan, but this is manageable, and not having to pay a credit card means that I can build up savings for the first time in my life. I can pay off the loan early, but if, god forbid, I lose my job, it won't be the end of the world.

Well done f_f. :TYou have done SO well. Have some chocolate today to celebrate. or cake!
Also, nosey old me would be interested to hear, if you hadn't worked so very hard at paying off your debt, would you have added to it and if so, what would you have spent the money on? Sorry I just being nosey I know! It's just I know since coming on this site I have not spent a lot of money I otherwise would have - and it's all mainly on silly stuff - takeaways, clothes I don't need etc etc etc!
