Good morning everyone!
It's payday today:j I love payday - I never have the money for very long, but it's a total change from my old attitude of "It's ok to spend £50 more than I have this week - it's payday". Now my thinking is more "Ooh, payday, that means my big PAD and I can top up all my account pots and redo the budget". Some might think me sad, I know I am wise in the Ways of MSE
So, big PAD of £100 made today. I'm waiting on another £100 arriving from my savings account to pay off last month's credit card bill and then I'm stopping using the confounded thing unless it's for food shopping/planned expenses. I have taken it out of my purse. Which worked fine but yesterday I had to return things to the shops and had paid for them on the blessed card and didn't have it with me. Muppet.
I may need to pay for the hotel bill I am going to have on my credit card and PAD that off (Wedding in a few weeks) and also the shoes for said wedding, but I'm going to see what I can find in the sales this weekend for the wedding.
I went to see Harry Potter last night with kissjen which was lovely. We had a very nice dinner at Pizza Hut (Om nom nom) and smuggled our sweets in MSE-styleThe film was really good (which I'm glad about as Best Friend has made me promise to go and see it when she returns from holiday!) and I had a lovely time with kissjen who is just as funny and kind in real life as she is online
Methinks another MSE meetup is in the offing!
Right, I must dash - I have caught up with all my threads from yesterday and need to do my comping for this morning. We can in no way afford a holiday for another 1000 years, so dagnammit I'm going to win one.
GG - read your thread but don't have time to post this morning. Don't let the b*stards get you down. I would feedback to the agency though about your interviewer so they understand....
Friday tomorrow, people

Glad you had a good time, obviously you managed to find each other then!
I know what you mean about payday, I love it becaause I can redo my meal plans for the next month, plan out where it's all going, fiddle about with my spreadsheet and put optimistic totals in the 'pad' column to try and make it look better than it will be hehe.
Have a nice day

Thank you!
I am not sure agency would understand TBH. Not to mention its the company that pays their commission so not sure they are going to go into battle over one candidate who claims that the interviewer had a chip on her shoulder........ if only it were that easy.

Anyone sitting beside us must have thought us very sad with our chat of Costco and where to get the best bargain groceries!
So, the sucky part of my day - I was eating a SnackAJack earlier and chewed something really hard. What was it? Half my sodding tooth, that's what. Guess who's going back to the dentist? Oh yes! Luckily it doesn't hurt at the moment (If it does I am to go straight to the dentist and they will squeeze me in) and I have an appointment for Monday. At least they can help me with my dental claim form this time :rotfl:
So if I have no pain tomorrow I have a weekend of trying to meal plan things which aren't likely to fracture my tooth further....

The only thing that is keeping me sane is that it doesn't hurt...
I can't wait until it's all over :rotfl:

You're the third person I 'know' thats broken their tooth today... makes me cringe and go all funny just thinking about it - I bl00dy hate dentists!
Hope it doesn't hurt over the weekend...

Thanks Sarah!
I think that the worst thing is that I didn't break it on anything I like, such as toffee, but a flipping SnackAJack. Never shall I try a healthy new treat again!0
