I think we are all good at torturing ourselves with numbers aren't we.

Glad you had fun at CP. Sounds like you needed it. Hope your dad gets sorted out soon. Must be a real worry. Take care. x

Defo, I have resisted so far today to look at the numbers

Dad gets his results next week, so have to wait to see. I think he has had this heart murmor since birth (way back in the 1930's) and is now just a sign of old age

Maths where incorrrect, I had forgotten car tax in November but then I only need £2750, so the car tax was sort of covered by chance

But then diaster (I looked at the spreadsheet), if I can find an extra £60 then the payments + OP's - interest for this year = £8K

So why am I not satifised with this :rotfl:

Especially as I'm getting really frustatrated that I can't sell the bl**dy house so I can then go and buy another house which means a bigger mortgage (and then I'll have to start again :()

    God I'm fickle :D

Radish the whole buying/selling business is the worse thing. It is so stressful then at the end you are left with a mortgage twice the size :)

    Thanks LilacPixie

It so is, and we haven't even looked at the buying bit yet and we have to do the selling bit twice, my house and BF house

Plus point, mortgage might be twice the size depending on house sales, but there will be two of us to pay it

I must also listen to my dad more, he got his results yesterday. They think he fell in July as he had a heart attack, this has damaged part of his heart, which is why it is now tachi-cardio as it is having to work harder to pump his blood through, this is also causing the tiredness as not as much oxygen is getting to the rest of his body

The heart attack is due to hardening of an artery, so they have now put him on beta-blockers. He goes back in 6 weeks for more tests and they are talking about it might be possible to "put something in" (can't remember the medical term) to widen the artery

Feel a bit numb, if feels like the heart attack happened yesterday not 3 months ago, so work today just doesn't seem worth the hassle

Made a desicion and OP'd £1500 of the mortgage (so no house moving funds left but hey) last night. BF thinks he can OP £1K of his mortgage this month as well, so glad he got on board with all this

Now counting the hours till the weekend, bit prem but want a hug of BF ;)

    Thank you SmlSave

Plus I start counting the moment I drive away from BF's house on the Sunday

Put the phone down on him last night, I'm not in a happy place at the moment (no sympathy please because I can sort this out if I could just get off my backside) so I took it out on him

His Estate Agents have bullied him into dropping his asking price, as they say this will bring more viewers, so I told him off for being spineless . They work off a fixed price so they aren't interested in getting him the best price. Plus they woudn't tell him how many houses they had sold in the last 3 months so I think that will be none.

So should be busy over the next weeks with lots of viewing ...............somehow I think not :rotfl:

 BF has had no viewings even though the Estate agent said they had lots lined up :)

But someone BF works with is interested, so thinking of sacking off the EA and selling it privately but need to find out how interested they are at buying it.

Counted my copper jar last night and I have £2 :) to take the bank and pay off the mortgage. Why does copper take so long to collect

Keep wishing it was payday as I want to pay some more off the mortgage, obsession of getting it under £20K by the end of the year is still strong

Bought a few Christmas presents for BF, some cards, wrapping paper and sweets for work (as half price) but struggling to think off things to buy for people

Dad is doing ok, not had any occurances but he is really taking things slow and reading lots of books, good job mum helps out in a charity shop so she can meet the demand.

Dinner over, better get back to work :(

Hi Radish :) If your BF wants to sell privatly make sure that he reads his T&C's with the EA as lots of them will charge you their fee if you find a buyer within a certain time period from cancelling with them! So be careful.

    Its a sign from above

My "For sale" sign is the only one in the road (out of 5) that has been blown over in the wind last night. So I now have a lovely crater in the front lawn :) and the sign on the lawn. Wonder if it will get nicked over the weekend suppose I should put it down the side of the house when I get home from work

Plus my shed  is no longer where it was in the back garden and is now nearer the house :rotfl:
