Well, as you say hon he was in the right place so here's hoping they sort himA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
Mortgage Balance = £0

Dad news - lots of medication and has an appointment on the 11th October to have a heart monitor for 24 hours. Seems to be fine at the moment, spending a lot of time reading books and pottering around the garden/house.
Work news - has been really horrible, 2 people have passed away suddenly both early 40's, 1 with cancer and 1 with a brain hemorrhage, there just seems to be no good news at the moment
House news - no viewers on either mine of BF's
Mortgage news - BF paid off £1K off his, so I did the same on mine on Friday (so I own all of downstairs) and I've increased my monthly payment to £375 from £300. Extra money came from some of my pay rise, cancelling union membership and Halifax reward
Other news - have booked 4 night at Center Parks in October. The no drinking till Christmas lasted 3 weeks as went to York yesterday for a beer festival :rotfl:Mortgage Aug 12 £165K, Aug 19 £0

Dad has now been for all his heart test, had another episode in the hospital, bless him , he does time them well, sure it must be all the sexy nurses, just need to wait for the results
Back from Center Parcs, covered in bruises and legs are only just recovered from hover-craft racing (4 days later). It was so hard, you have to turn using your thighs and I was really rubbish, to much throttle but a lot of fun. Played lots of badminton, walks in the woods, swimming in the pool (sitting on the hot tub) Loved the sauna, bliss to spend 3 hours sitting down being steamed cleaned, the lemon one was my favorite as not to hot. Did lots of archery as well I was quite good at shooting the plastic animals in the woods, thankfully we didn't have to run as this was on the day when legs really didn't work
Back to work tomorrow boo, so really need to leave BF's house and go home, back to reality, food shopping, ironing, washing and sleeping alone
Plus point, booked Friday afternoon off as oops we are going to a beer festival. BF has booked a hotel even though its not to far away from home
No idea on mortgage front, have to look at bank statement when I get homeMortgage Aug 12 £165K, Aug 19 £0

Seem to be spending hours looking at my spreadsheet at the moment and entering amounts of money in to see the reduction in mortgage
Have to keep telling myself to stop it as its not really paying any money off the mortgage :rotfl:
I have become obsessed with getting mortgage below £20K by the end of this year which would need another £2750 on top of the extra OP I'm doing
On paper it seems do-able, but I keep thinking my maths are wrong and a big chunk of the money would be what's saved to cover moving costs (if that ever happens) which could be saved again in the New Year
I have also paid £700 into my ISA (why not the mortgage you all be wondering) so this just needs a further £1k to be full for this tax year - this is in the money plan along with £500 for Christmas
Why can't I make any descisions....................... :rotfl:Mortgage Aug 12 £165K, Aug 19 £0

Oh Radish - thank goodness Im not the only one who does this!! :rotfl:
Its like I feel that entering the right number might hit a magic jackpot that zeroes my balance! ..if only
good luck with your decisions0 -
I think we are all good at torturing ourselves with numbers aren't we.
Glad you had fun at CP. Sounds like you needed it. Hope your dad gets sorted out soon. Must be a real worry. Take care. x0
