I have received a letter from cccs telling me that it will take 8 weeks to process which is ok but none of my creditors have accepted my token payment of £10 a month (thats £60 all together) i thought that was generous enough.
Also I am sailing close to the wind as each creditor is shoving every charge under the sun on to the amount, I have accrued £200 in one week! i only have £800 left now before they push me through the £15k barrier.0 -

Try contacting Baines and Ernst....they can usually process the DRO the same day.
Failing that, I believe the OR can discount charges that they believe have been added unfairly to tip you over the 15k limit. Cloudy area though, because most creditors will insist their charges are being added correctly:)I used to be Snow White, but I drifted.Mae West

Have you ammended you SOA to ensure that the extra income with your new job (congratulations by the way), doesnt tip you over the £50 surplus for a DRO?I used to be Snow White, but I drifted.Mae West

Just checked it and becuase I shall have to travel to thier head office (extra 40 miles around trip each day) I will spend the money in petrol until I can move closer to my new job which may be a while:T Debt Free 06/05/2010 :T0 -

I was unaware of that.....just using my own experience when applying for a DRO nearly 12 months ago

Wish they would hurry up and decide on the pension issue, student loans are ringing me nearly everyday chasing an overpayment and I cannot offer them anything as it would invalidate any possible future DRO showing favour to student loans etcTotal 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Seeing as you are a person in the know..........:)
