HI
I have a DRO and everything went smoothly. My OH is now considering it as well. He fulfills all of the criteria now, but will receive his State pension next May ie 4 weeks within the end of the 12 month period of the DRO. This will take him over the £50 surplus. Am I right in thinking that this will revoke the DRO, or should he go for it?
Thanks0 -

Hmmm.......i would be tempted to go for it.
Technically it is perfectly within the OR power to revoke the DRO, but I would imagine this would only be if someone alerted him to the change of circumstances.

You may find the queue at NDL for DRO's really long....up to six weeks.
If you are certain a DRO is the way forward for you, and you have taken advice, try calling Baines and Ernst.
I got my DRO processed within hours.I used to be Snow White, but I drifted.Mae West

£90 is the DRO fee. B&E are a commercial organisation. If there's no money in it for them, I don't understand why they are involved with DROs.
Any ideas anyone?0 -
I know that some have received a good service form B&E but.............
they are in it to persuade you in to a DMP instead. I have a client who went to B&E for a DRO, fitted the criteria but was told she had too much spare income, which simply wasnt true. She enrolled on DMP instead(after also being told that she could never work as a bar manager if she goes for a DRO) which cost her an enrolment fee of £125 and a monthly management charge.
I am making a complaint, I want her money back, and im probably going to report them to the insolvency service.
