Hi
Yes I have seen the replies but after I posted I seen that you get more replies on this thread and that there are debt advisers on here who know a lot about dro's so thought I'd ask on here too.
Any advice greatly appreciated0 -

How long ago was the DRO granted?. If it was a few weeks ago, they should have all the info. My advice get your DRO number and call them and tell them you are now under a DRO. I did the same with mine which was mercers (i think). He took the number and i never heard from them again.0 -

I understand that, the advice I gave was from personal experience! After one phone call giving them the dro number and approval date and I haven't heard another thing from them, just as Orville has to!
It takes a few minutes n stops all the letters! You'll also hear they can talk to you like a human being too! Give it a go you'll see!:jEngaged 25/12/11 :j

Does your DRO record show up anywhere else other than the Insolvency Site?0

So do you think a company will accept a copy of my credit file with my DRO details on plus a list of my creditors? BOS sold my account on in November 2010, 4 months after my DRO had ended. Capquest are only now chasing me! and want prove.0

They can see your credit file without your assistance! Give them your DRO number and require their response within 8 weeks. If they then continue, report them to the DRO unit, FOS and OFT0 -
does anyone know if you can get a student account of you have a DRO? i got mine in september and started uni in september and am trying to arrange my finances in a more organised way
thanks0 -
Well tomorrow marks the end of my 12 month period in the DRO - how time flies when you're not getting hassled every day! What happens after this period? I assume the IS send a letter confirming all debts have been written off as it's the end of your (something period.. begins with M..)?
It'll be such a relief to finally get this off my back, lesson learned the desperately hard way, time to grow up :money:0
