Hi,
I'm assuming that if you moved in with a partner that you would have no income as your income support would stop.
The £50 surplus can only be derived from your income, not a partners. If you have no income then the partners income is irrelevant, you could never have a £50 pm surplus.
This is confirmed by Citizens Advice specialist support.

Hi there
I am just wondering...i honestly have no idea where my pension is (stupid as it sounds) but I think it is about £340 value (my work place has closed down and I have no paperwork or anything:o)
If I apply for a DRO, would this be a massive no? I mean, if I don't know where my pension is, how would they find it and also, if the rules are going to change, then would this be ok?
I am tempted to go ahead with it and end my misery
I owe about £7k
Basically, I cannot track my pension down anywhere, but i do remember it was about £340 but where I worked went bust and I have no idea where my pension was put
So I am saying, shall I just apply for a DRO and do mention my pension? I honestly can't find it for want of trying, so how on earth could the DRO people find it?STARTED WITH £11,153 TOTAL DEBT

I have a day to myself today and was considering sending a letter to all my creditors advising them I've sent my paperwork off to be considered for a DRO. Most of my creditors have backed off, it seems, but the two council tax debts (currently with bailiffs) are pressurising me and I'm surprised I've not heard anything from one of them.
Do you think that would be a good idea or is it like poking a wasps nest and the letter would only annoy them?
My letter only went off last week so it might be 7/8 weeks before anything else happens...:(0 -
I am currently looking for some advice from somone who has done a DRO. I went to my local CAB today but they were only seeing people who have booked an appointment. I am looking in to getting a DRO as my debts are under £15000 but i am due to go maternity leave soon & i know i will really struggle

Hi
Was wondering if somebody could give some quick advice, I was granted a DRO last September and up until now haven't heard anything from any creditors, however one has just rung me and states that they know nothing about the DRO and are going to continue chasing me for full payment.
Who do I contact to get them to send proof of my DRO? Or should I just send them a copy of the letter I got confirming the DRO?
Thanks:heart: Think happy & you'll be happy

I would get in touch with the Insolvency Service....no doubt they will have a stern word with the creditor in question....:)I used to be Snow White, but I drifted.Mae West
