You've broken the Forum rules. It is compulsory that when you mention food, you supply your MSE recipe for it!

Yes but I don't do recipes.

For what it's worth, boil a stock pot of new potatoes, broccoli, carrots, swede, red onion, peas and sprouts, fry tomato and onion with a bit of sugar, make up a pan of rice and lentils, and mix the lot together with some quorn mince.

Decant into multiples of a portion, then add gravy (from Bisto) and call it stew, or add co-op curry sauces as appropriate for each flavour.
    You're a posh 'un aren't you!

Apparently so. I'm certainly not trying to cut down on my spending because I can't afford it, I just want to save and invest more.
Hurrah, now I have more thankings than postings, cheers everyone!
  • Absolute rubbish! I've just spent the last 5 years living below a lone parent who was on benefits. There's no such rule as far as claiming LHA goes.

like i stated in a post AFTER that one, every council has diffrent rules and regulations - look it up if you dont belive me! ...and its NOT rubbish if its what my adviser told me is it?? ?? ..what am i supposed to do go back in and say "well this stranger online accused me of being a liar so i thought id come in a start a fight about it"...pffff is what i think of that. im going off what i have been told by the people who are capable of doing anything about it,i cant do more than that!!

is even more fun than going to San Sebastian, Irun, Hendaye, Biarritz, Bayonne
or being sick to my stomach on the Travesera de Gracia in Barcelona
  • That looks like the statement of somebody who's had THE big op themselves!

When our cat cubs were "done", OH insisted on referring to it as circumcision. He could cope with that idea, castration was a step too far...
...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.

    Is it very time consuming?
Nationalism is an infantile disease. It is the measles of mankind. - Albert Einstein.

“The nationalist not only does not disapprove of atrocities committed by his own side, but he has a remarkable capacity for not even hearing about them.”-

    Orwell.

yes it takes years and years to complete aswell,at the earliest im looking at 4 years, maybe 3 if i really work my !!! off to just getting the basic degree, then theres a whole other kettle of fish after that to become an actual lawyer..then theres more to become a barrister. ive got the whole thing step by step written down somewhere, but its late and i cant be bothered to type it out lol

I'd be virtually retired if I started now.
    :)

Is it 3+1+2 years, like a solicitor? Or more?
(degree + solicitor finals + articles)

Do you just go to the bar instead of doing articles?

It's 3 year law degree + 1 year Bar Vocational Course + 2 x six month pupillages (minimum) + another couple of years to earn a sum visable to the naked eye.

Or 3 year degree + 1 year conversion course 1 year Bar Vocational Course + 2 x six month pupillages + another couple of years to earn a sum visable to the naked eye.
