Oh, I have just seen there is a new challenge for February.
Well, I have got a couple of do's to go to this month but even though I didn't do too well last month (although cut down considerably) I am going to go for a target of 15 for February and none when on my own.
thanks

Hi Guys,
Hope everyone is well and in good spirits?
Winebox can you please add me to the February list, I am going for 28 afd. I'm not suprised that you missed my post when I gave my total it was shall we say a little long.:rotfl: Hope you have a good weekend sweetheart, hugs and take care. xxx
Dear Lurky, day 30 can you please update my total when you do the scores, bet you will be glad of the rest when Winebox takes over. Thankyou again though for all the effort you have put in and for keeping everyone's spirits up, oh and you do make me smile. :rotfl:Hugs and take care. xxx
Still no Polaroid or Bhb hope you are both well? If you are lurking Hi and post soon. (Like to know you are ok)? Hugs to you both. xxx
I am just having a ginger wine, don't worry its af I have been to the health shop, I have also bought detoxing tea. I had lunch in spoons and had a coffee to drink with my lunch before this challenge it was always a large red. (I so suprised my mother :-)
I have also bought my best friends birthday pressie, all of which are going into a hamper. (I lurked on the special occasions thread, its fab. I am now a hamper junkie and since the discovery of curly ribbon and cellophane well my life is complete) :rotfl:Guys you must check it out there is a lady on there called: Rusty Flange she is a legend, she just never stops. :T to her she deserves it.
So everyone take care and I will catch you all later
Love and hugs to you all, we are nearly at the end and then we begin again. Lets make it so... (Sorry came over all Jean Luke Picard :-) xxxxxxxxxxxCherish the ones you love and travel back on the road that brings you home

Evening all
Hope you are all gearing up for good weekends, whether they be AF, cutting down or whatever.
I resisted the temptation in Tesco's earlier to buy a bottle of wine. Stood in the wine section reiterating to myself why I don't want to drink. Walked away empty handed so was quite chuffed.
I guess I'm of the mentality "Its friday...GOT to have a drink". Going to change that. So I'm on the cherryade tonight instead (and treated myself to a nice curry instead!).
BB...know what you mean about the cellophane and curly ribbon! Did a hamper for my Dads birthday in December and was quite excited to find cellophane etc in hobbycraft! Am inspired and am going to do hampers for mothers day.

I can really identify with that. It's become such an engrained part of my routine (finish work at 5, toddle off down to the shopping precinct, meet Mrs GP, do a bit of weekend shopping at Asda, stack up on the weekends supply of cans / bottles, then go home and drink them all)
For a while it seems really alien NOT to do it. I promise you it quickly stops feeling weird though.0 -
Well I'm a bit let down that I didn't quite dip below 18 stone this week, but it's going to happen next week (see? Thats positive thinking for you).
Nerdy as it sounds, my graph really helps me believe that even though some days I'm heavier than I was the previous day, it's definately heading in the right direction.

The plan for this weekend is to get stuck into learning the guitar, and maybe do a serious walk somewhere nice and quiet.0 -
WB - thanks for posting the Feb list.
Back from the meal/gig tonight and pleased as stuck to a 2 drinks max limit (ok, they were pints, but still...!). It's weird to be sober at that kind of event (and also to be a good 15 years older than almost everyone else) but felt good. Was able to get a bus home which cost me £1 instead of the usual taxi fare.
PS Posted the other night about going out for an Indian meal and being AF - that night only cost a tenner. Didn't really consider the money saving benefits when I joined the forum a few weeks back but wow - once you go AF you realise just how expensive alcohol is. Another incentive to keep going.0 -
sorry mate - if you'd posted that I missed it. Problem is I din't know where 115 comes in the alphabet. Tell you what, I'll put you top to stop those tears
Oh no, now I am top so I will really have to stick to my target in February!;)HOUSE MOVE FUND £16,000/ £19,000
