Yay for everyone. Well darling FD  managed to add insult to injury after returning the Nat Ins unpaid by charging me £10 for the privilege despite saying that they wouldn't do either! But have just had very firm conversation with them and they have agreed to refund it "on this occasion" - which would be irritating as it is actually their error trying to pay a DD early then going against their word - twice - but as they are refunding it I am going to rise above it!
Waiting for about £4 to show in my account that I put in the pennies machine on Friday apparently about 2 minutes before it broke and then I can pay those off.
Good weekend totals everyone - despite horrid January cold and darkness we are still doing well. :TLD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300

Paid £1 today. I've got an item finishing on ebay tomorrow with no bids yet but quite few watchers so I'm hoping to have something for my pad for the rest of the week (as well as my savings from taking my lunch).
I'm not sure where the weekend went - and I've not done a damn thing. :mad:Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts - DFW Nerd 323

Could complain I know but will take it on the chin as another payement towards debt freeness and watch out for that next month!!
If you don't want them to do this every month, you'll need to cancel the direct debit. They're not doing anything untoward - they're just taking the money you've authorised them to each month. Your other payments are extras on top of this, so even if you pay more than the minimum, the DD will still come out regardless.
This is how I deal with my Egg Card. My Direct Debit is set to £70 (minimum plus an extra 20 or so) and that comes out as normal while I make a payment of a couple of pounds each day. It will be worth it when you see bigger chunks coming off the balnace! :j
