Another £1 today from me, have to say congratulations to all the winners and payer-offers and everyone who has managed to make any headway at all towards their debts.

    :T :T :T :T

I don't post a huge amount but have started to update my pads as I go and it has made a huge difference to me! I was skeptical at first as I thought well, I'll just spend as little as I can then pay whats left off the debts at the end of the month. But even though I have a relatively big surplus on my SOA it never happened like that, I would always find some other carp to spend it on! Now look at me, just this month I've managed to find £400 quid in the first 2 weeks of the month!
    Thanks everyone!
    xx
Ths signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it... :o

I am starting to feel a bit cheerier today, throat not so bad as yesterday but that maybe because the codeine in my Tylex tablets is nicely numbing the pain:p

I did my PaD today before setting off for work at 7am.

A nice round £100 again to HMRC.

No more payments to them until Monday now. I must focus on the VAT and MBNA over the weekend.

Going to go and make my dd her dinner then i shall try and catch up on the thread.

    Happy Friday everyone xxx:j

  • My gas bill was in excess of £200 so I checked the meter as the bill was an estimate and guess what the bill should have been more than 3 times what it was so quitely paid it and will prepare for next bill with a true reading

I've actually given falsely low customer readings in the past if cashflow was tight. That was way back when I paid quarterly for exactly what I had used.

The new place we just moved into is oil central heating plus we have a log /coal burner and a friend who works in the wood industry so get it all for free as and when he has off cuts! I think i prefer paying for it up front as some of your bills sound scary

    Hello all,
What should have been a good day turned out c**p had a team meeting and although i dont leave work till mon for mat leave it was the last time id see them.
my boss turns round and said that he wants the company vehicle back on mon,
now if i had been given some warning fair enough but nothin now im totally screwed got our sun hol next weekend no car cant do public transport as i will be 37 weeks and need to take baby stuff just in case ahhhhhhhhh i got to keep the car during my last mat leave, i have nt even put anything aside to get a banger,
ahhhh why me but hey as always i must look on the bright side if i aint got the car i dont have to pay company car tax to the inland rev hence more money in my pocket at the end of the month so it may well be a good thing:)
    rant over :)
