    Afternoon all,

Just taking a break from my assignment and though i would do my PAD, so paid £3.02 to HSBC CC.

Well done to everyone who is moving their DFD forward and to those who have paid any debts off! :j

F-F Thank you so much for doing those totals, its really motivating to see how well we're doing!!

I have now decided to just update my sig when my credit card statements come through as i have been confusing myself with all these small payments, good job im not doing F-F's job :rotfl:

  • Thanks for the encouraging words Fag_ash_lil. I paid 65p off a cc last night having rounded down to the balance in my bank account, and have £2 in my change jar. Not gonna write things off overnight, but a little psychological boost!
    xx

I'm going to have to buy bigger coffee mugs - its taking so long to read all the good stuff on this thread. Well done everyone.

DS2 back at school today but stuck at home anyway as man is coming to change my gas meter. More pennies in the box for me today but should be able to make a decent payment into the bank tomorrow. Also managed to claim a couple of vouchers on survey sites which will mean I can restock my depleted present drawer so that's like saving up PADs I guess.

Snow has gone - very sad.

Morning all....Paid £10 to debenhams Credit Card.

question: i save my 20ps deliberately getting them in my change or not spending any if i have them in my purse and anything under 20p goes in my pot
should i empty this each week and put the ££ in the bank and use this to as a PAD or just save it untill it rains??

    love to all

If you are paying interest on your cards I would pay them off when you have £5 or £10, help to save some interest.

It does look scary when you include a loan, esp if you can't overpay the loan.... but once the cards are gone, you could start saving towards paying off the loan early (providing there are no fees) or you could save some of what you have been paying and start an emergency fund...

Good luck with your quest x
