Can you tell I have been having a bit of catch up on the posts from the last couple of days?! It appears that there is further news from the Fresian household which I hadn't seen when I posted my 'well done' post - oh well, it's still good news, so I stand by what I said!!
Today I put my washing out on the line and an hour later I had to get it back in again when it started raining!
My PAD today is £1.08 to LTSB
Off now to make some dinner - see you all later for the soiree!!!PigginSkint's debt free diary

PigginSkint wrote: »Well, yes and no! I think I stopped it being worse than it was but it was still pretty bad. I still had to head off to bed to sleep it off - both the migraine and the effects of the tablet (send me away with the fairies they do!).PigginSkint wrote: »
In addition I managed to trip up going up the stairs, crushing the yoghurt I was carrying (heartburn prevention as I had just eaten my dinner and was about to lie down - a bad combination!) and bending my big toe back in a direction it really didn't want to go! Ouch!
I need to get myself to the doctors pronto as I have now run out of migraine tablets.
Interested in your comment about yoghurt for heartburn does it make a difference? I suffer really badly with it at night have prescription tablets, gaviscon and often still end up being sick with it had a rough night last night as we went out for a meal so any ideas would be gratefully received. Is it plain yoghurt?
£10 PAD to the Lotus fund
Give up still can't get piccies to work so cant add any goodies to the soiree sorry

Hi Double Trouble
Sorry to hear you are a fellow heartburn sufferer. Yoghurt does seem to be quite effective - not sure why!
When I have had a really bad bout in the past I have tried just about everything - including gaviscon. Yoghurt was something I found just by accident! The yoghurt on its own is quite good at prevention. I take peppermint tablets morning and night anyway because it is good at keeping my IBS under control and it seems to have the additional benefit of helping with heartburn.
Last time I had a really bad bout of heartburn I discovered that it is the 'cocktail' that seems to work - not just yoghurt and not just antacid and/or peppermint, but both! Though it seems that you need to leave a bit of gap (say about 1/2 hour) between each different product.
And any yoghurt will do!PigginSkint's debt free diary
