PAD £1.22 for me today to Egg card.
I agree, it's definitely quieter at the mo. I think this might be because we're coming up to payday (for those of us who get paid monthly), so some people are a bit poor at the mo!
I wonder if there's anyway we could promote this challenge on the other threads, see if we can get more people to join in? xx0 -

Every time I comment on someone's SOA I pimp this thread :rotfl:
I think that part of the reason for the quiet thread is as you said, people are getting close to payday, but we also saw loads of folk in January and that's when people start going "Right, this year I mean it" and then fall off the wagon, no matter what their resolution is, maybe it's a bit of that?0 -

i've definitely had enough the the vino going on, danko - gained about 4lbs in the last week due to DH being off work!:eek::eek: well, more specifically - due to having a little tipple nearly every night he has been off
and then feeling a bit peckish due to tipple, so snacking on lovely lovely crisps and biscuits and mini cheddars and quality street (just about finished xmas chocs now...)
so my plan is to do a little local power walking tomorrow (there's a group i can go with) and resist the vino and carpy snax this week. can i do it? yes i can!
(it's a shame DS2 and i made 18 chocolate cupcakes today, though - had one to check they were "safe", but every time i go into the kitchen they look at me all patehtic like, wondering why i am igoring them!) :rotfl:Mortgage free as of 11/11/15 !

That's really good about a local power walking group, you go girl! That's the thing with yummy treats everywhere, they need to be eatten! It must have been a baking day today as I made some rock cakes so took some overe to my mum and dads for tea as I'd just eat them all!

no, no no - to the combined bad influences of fresian, danko and terri! i have to start the week "good" (ie no cakes or wine or other naughtiness on a sunday night) so i've got room to fail towards the end of the week!
...also, wine makes it soooo much harder to get up in the morning. and after a week of school hols, tomorrow morning is going to be hard enough! xxMortgage free as of 11/11/15 !
